My reviews are usually insightful and verbose.
But, What. The. Fuckity-Fuck?!

I think I've read this fic twice now, not including going back to various chapters just to read that specific one, and someone always comes into my head whenever I read this story. Yui and Gendo seem like really shitty parents. It's not even the fact that they left their biological son with his relatives, but just the sheer uncaring attitude they seem to give off. On the surface, Yui and Gendo look like they're okay people who kind of care about their son, but whenever anything happens to Shinji that's damaging or traumatic, they just seem to shrug it off and move on with their lives without even acknowledging the fact that their son was hurt or in danger, etc.

I've read this particular chapter a number of times, and I still can't get over how awesome the moment Unit 01 appears is. Feels like something out of Titanfall, and I'm a big fan of the pilotrobot relationship thats going on. Only thing that would have made this scene better would be Rei hitching a ride and carrying a bazooka ready to party XD

It was crazy.
