Gosh, they need more of Itachi in the manga. Your stories make me see the potential in this character. And I love the tension between Sakura and Itachi. I'm anxious to know what you come up with for this story. Love your writing (The Centerpiece was awesome), and I hope to read more of this soon.

Loved the mindgames between Sakura & Itachi in this - it's just like foreplay for them; and it is so much fun that you keep leaving hints for each story in the other. You write them playing off each other other so well, and I get so giddy when I see the 'Update' notice in my e-mail, since I know you're building up to something big in each fic.

Loved the way you ended this chapter with a cliffy like that - and can't wait for Sakura's reaction! :D

Itachi comes off as kind of controlling and manipulative...which maybe he is meant to be? I hate to criticize- it was just the slightest bit disconcerting that nothing seems to be happening on Sakura's terms. It's nothing terrible, though. Also, I wondered how Itachi was able to lift and carry Sakura with his muscles on his arm lacerated. It would mean his forearm could not be flexed or utilised properly...

But I love reading between this story and its precursor! They are both wonderfully written and very thoughtfully constructed.

...With all the fantastic strength Masashi gives some of his characters, Sakura's limitations are sometimes incredibly frustrating, but I love how you write her so cleverly and believably. You have managed to capture her intelligence and medically enhanced fighting capabilities quite well (better than in the manga, even). And I am so happy to see her in ANBU. Tsunade wanted medics to be out on the field, not just doing rounds in the hospital-and I think Sakura is suited for such an elite status, honestly.

Your fight scene was extremely enjoyable, not long and overly drawn out like many others. I was captivated throughout the entire thing! I'm glad to see that Sakura is able to hold her own against itachi

Also, how many chapters are planned for this fic?
