aww man, it's a shame this thing won't be completed..it was a good story, i love it..but, then again, it's in a hiatus like every good and likeable stories I've come across and read..

Haven't finished reading this chapter 2 yet, but I have to comment. It's incorrect to say "The Teme".

"Teme" means "You" in Japanese. It's an aggressive and rude way addressing someone. English doesn't have multiple versions of this pronoun but you can have many different personal pronouns in various languages.

I won't say don't use Japanese words, but try to understand the word's proper meaning first. You can ask me if you'd like. I've been reading Japanese over a decade.

I see your point when you said that Kishimoto focused on Naruto and Sasuke's parents and not Sakura's. And in all honesty, I feel like your version of how things went, so far, is better than the original. I know they may say that Sakura wasn't meant to be the main heroine at first, but why bond her with the main character in the show and have her in nearly every episode if she wasn't supposed to be of any use to the plot of the show or manga?
This story so far is awesome! I love that, FINALLY, someone saw how Sakura was supposed to be 'excellent at genjutsu' and then they never really gave her credit for it. I like how you did though, and that's awesome.
I also like how you saw Sasuke's arrogance as a problem, something that should've been addressed in the manga as well. His lack of teamwork skills should've been an automatic no no, but they never addressed it because he's an 'Uchiha'. I FREAKING LOVE THIS BOOK!

He backed off? Bullshithe put a Kunai through Zabuza's head as he backed off is what you should have said. This scene has never made sense to me, and you have had this Kakashi acting smarter than canonup to this scene at least.

12 teams passed the first exam. That means 36 people. Even at best only 18 can pass it. How can there be 21 in the prelims. As an advice, dont be afraid to change canon events for minor things. Logically, there should be something like 12 in prelims only as not all may get the required scrolls when there only 6 scroll pairs in total. So 4 teams is a good bet

It may be the fact that I'm not an experienced writer but your ending doesn't seem rushed to me. I enjoy this story so much right now can't wait to see what happens next!
