I really like how you've developed Edward as a character, instead of the one-dimensional callous cad you had him painted as in the beginning. Then again that may have been in your brilliant plan as it were. ;)

Hopefully Bella keeps her newly grown backbone and explore the Michael angle a bit before Edward redeems himself. Mike's such a sweetheart in this. Still holding for that B&E HEA though. Kudos.

I SERIOUSLY wanted to punch Edward with Tanya showed up and that's rare for me because my love for him is so strong. I'm glad you've included some EPOV...hopefully he can get his head out of his ass and make things right with Bella. I must also compliment you, because your Mike is the first sexy Mike I've ever read...with his inked and bartendery cuteness. I like the way you used him to help Bella rebuild her confidence.

I like how you captured Bella in this chapter; particularly that she seems to be rooted in reality - and not entirely clueless about what life without money is like.
