Lola - I just can't tell you enough how much I love this story! I was so proud of Bella for verbally bitch slapping his ass, he so needed it.

And while the necklace was a beautiful gesture on his part, does not make it ok AT ALL. IF Bella decides to forgive him, man does he have a long way to go in making things up to her.

I love your story so much. This last chapter made Edward appear more human and vulnerable than before. The fact that he realizes what he threw away and what he could have had tells me he isn't all bad. I think the way you show him mourning her loss and expressing remorse makes me think he is capable of redemption. I still think he should have to work for it. It is really beatifully told and melancholic.

OMG WUT the ending. xD

But I loved this chapter to 8D But I disagree with Bella, atm Edward seems like a tool to me. haha

I loved reading Edward's remorse for being an a-hole. I'm really loving the story as a whole. I can't wait for their reconciliation although a part of me wants that far in the future to give room for Edward to properly grovel. Kudos. I hope your fic gets more of the adulation that is deserves.

I have to say that this story is kinda owning me right now. It feel like this chapter in particular is really powerful and I find myself rereading it over and over. My favorite part is where Bella acknowledges her responsibility in the way things played out.

"I understand my part in the breakup now, if you can even call it that.

He said he had an almost-girlfriend.

True.

He said he was a prick.

True.

We didn't discuss the future.

True, true, true. "

I like how mature Bella is, it's refreshing, really. And I know I have said this before but your used of present tense is really good here. I like the 'live in the now' vibe it provides and it allows you to get right to what your characters are feeling without the need for alot of superfluous description.

I am excited to see how this story plays out.

Wow! Very excellent. Everything hit just right. I think we all needed Bella to lay it all out there and she did it so well! In front of everyone and his mom yanked him out of the room like a little kid! Beautiful!

And you gave us all the hints that he is suffering. I'm sorry to say I do like that. lol
