Awesome chapter! Family dynamics aren't my thing, so I can't help you there, but I'm pretty good with couples, so I'll have to say: Norm and Hnene make quite the odd couple, so it's gonna be tricky if you want them to get together. That said, this story is really good so far, so I think you can do it.

I just read all seven of your chapters in one go and I am now eagerly awaiting the next! You have the characters personalities down so well its as if you've made tsahelyu with James Cameron's brain! lol. I can see this as a very real continuation of Avatar and the images you invoke (especially those involving the rainy season) are just so lovely. I also love the idea of an albino ikran. You've made Neytiri and Jake's relationship into everything I hope it will blossom into in the second movie.

I can't wait until your next update and hope you get plenty of free time.

LOVED Norm in this chapter. His scientific interest in the speicmans was really in character, and you wrote the scene with Hnene giving birth really well. Before that, when he, Neytiri, and the boys got their ikrans was also in character for all, including the Na'vi as a while. I really liked your choice for Neytiri's ikran, especially the way she and Jake named each others. Can't wait to see what happens :)

Excellent work with this chapter, it is very well thought out. You obviously do a great deal of research and planning in your work, and it shows. You also have a talent for witty humor, the interaction between Jake, Norm and Neytiri was excellent and highly amusing. As always, I continue to be impressed by your writing style, neither overly descriptive nor bereft of scenery.
