|Reviews for CHRISTMAS NIGHT, CHRISTMAS FRIGHT|
| roguewarrior73 chapter 1 . 12/31/2009
I loved it! I especially liked having it be a kid be the one who brought them to life. Oh and I liked the eggnog reference too.
| Charlie Girl 79 chapter 1 . 12/31/2009
Excellent! A fun frolick in the snow, and poor Sam has a snow burn on his tummy. Didn't expect the magic wand!
A wonderful Christmas story.
| Twinchy chapter 1 . 12/28/2009
What a tense start to this short and entertaining little Christmas story, Vanessa, - and how gorgeous a continuation and awesome an end to it too!
You made me one really happy camper here tonight (plus, you are right, those things do look scary) by making Sam and Dean have a most interesting and demanding hunt. The whole fic was so well in line with what I came expect from the show, right down to the heart-warming, brotherly banter in the end (and the equal whump).
Thank you for writing this highly entertaining and well-done story.

I like it! A lot! Some of those things really ARE scary. Wouldn't surprise me at all if this kind of thing were to actually happen.
Well done. :)
| vonnie836 chapter 1 . 12/28/2009
This was funny. Dean having to deal with Frosty and Rudolf gone wild and poor Sam getting spun around like a toy, the thought made me giggle. Great job. Hugs, Vonnie

Aw, Ness, this was brilliant. Totally hilarious! I wasn't sure what you would be able to come up with to go with that oh-so-intriguing prompt, but you totally pulled it off. I could picture the whole thing perfectly, and it had me giggling so hard. Loved the descriptions of the reindeer with the maniacal eyes and the snowman with his stick fingers wrapped around Sam's ankle. ROTFL Great job on this, Laura will love it! I'm adding it to my faves. :)
| TraSan chapter 1 . 12/27/2009
Some of them are downright scary! :D
First of all, kudos to you, girl. You really write the humor fics with just the right touch.
Loved Sam being dragged by Frosty and Dean being chased down by Rudolph - but of everything it was the Jackson Pollack comment that made me laugh the loudest and then say, "Ew" right afterwards. LOL.
| masondixon chapter 1 . 12/27/2009
For me snowmen have ALWAYS been scary! And yet I bought my twins a stuffed one 3 years ago and they still have it. Sometimes I am still a little wary of it. Thank You for your story. Have a happy new years.
| PADavis chapter 1 . 12/27/2009
What a lot of fun - great prompt and the image of Sam being whipped around by his ankles, and Dean having to duck underneath him, will stick with me.
| Swellison chapter 1 . 12/27/2009
Nice job with the evil, killer inflatable Christmas lawn ornaments. I like that the snowman glommed onto Sam and the reindeer focussed on Dean, and they only went after their hunter of interest. When Dean got the wand, at first I thought he was going for a nice, pointy stake, to deflate the monsters. And I love how you got around the explanation with Dean's airy dismissal: "You may want to know, but I don't." So Dean. Nice to see Sam using his art history knowledge, too;-)
| sylia91 chapter 1 . 12/27/2009
I think this fic should be sent to Kripke, it would make an excellent plot bunny for their next SPN Xmas special, LOL! I know the seasonal lawn displays of which you refer to. I always thought it was so they could save and use it again for Halloween, heh.
| ziggy.uk chapter 1 . 12/27/2009
So funny the boys up against inflatable Christmas ornaments (we had an inflatable Santa when we were kids and he bit the dust one year when my sister bit him and he deflated!) Hysterical these inflatables taking on a life of their own and getting the better of the Winchesters! And loved the banter at the end about the eggnog - Dean had better shut up before Sam splatter the lawn and possibly his big brothers boots too!
Hope you had a great Christmas and have a wonderful New Year.

Difficult(but creative) challenge and you pulled it off beautifully!
