|Reviews for Us After This|
| blueappleous chapter 12 . 3/7
Hey, just wanted to say that I'm loving the story so far, and also to kind of correct u about Старые сказы супруг. Word-for-word it translates to old stories of married people, but I guess it fits your explanation too, I couldn't expect you to know :)
Always looking forward to new stories
| Ryl chapter 15 . 2/19
Oooh, things are really getting interesting! I love it when Draco and Harry find a way to work together-though Hermione and Draco are the stars of the story, I think I find this version of Harry the most fascinating of the characters. The way he admitted to Draco to having feelings for Hermione was brilliant.
But oh, dear. Hermione has been left behind? And pregnant?! Somehow, I think that Harry might have spoken a little prematurely when he said that she wouldn't be angry...
I do wonder how Teddy's burgeoning relationship with Daphne will be affected when Draco's disappearance is discovered and Teddy is compelled to spend more time with Hermione.
A fascinating read!

Noooooooooooo! I thought this story wouldn't be finished as I got to the bottom, but I didn't want to believe it. I hope it's finished somewhere else, and that I'm just a few years behind.
Moving on. First off, this is the first fic that I've reviewed on multiple chapters instead of the last only - because it's that good. This story has love, sadness, humour, smut . . . Everything.
And I looove your research and information. The little details. The unmentionables, the make-up of the wands, Harry's lineage . . . It shows how much effort you put in.
Also, not sure if you did this on purpose, or it was a mistake, but in chapter 15/16, Ernie goes to stay in Ravenclaw dorms, but he's Hufflepuff.
Main point is - love this fic, hope it's been finished somewhere else, and wish it had more reviews.

Loved Hermione's appearance in the library, and the additional research.
| Guest chapter 12 . 2/13
Love the range of emotions in this chapter, and again, kudos on the non-Harry Potter World creativity.
| Guest chapter 6 . 2/13
Oh. My. Gosh. Water. Fan. Anything! These 2 chapters were sooooooooooo hot! Can't wait to read the resr.
| Guest chapter 4 . 2/12
Loving this fic so far. The chemistry between Draco and Hermione is amazing and kudos on the creativity with the Unmentionables.
| thesydda chapter 14 . 2/9
"The whole universe was held together by such simple, unadorned words." What an exquisite thought!
I LOVE the idea of witches/wizards needs to trade out wands. Especially knowing they get their wand when they are 11; so much changes throughout life, but it must be hard, too, because your wand is so much a part of you, you know? But think how much it would tell you about yourself, getting a new wand and figuring out which one chose you?
I think you handled the religious conversation quite well (though I never had doubt that you would!)
What an interesting predicament for Narcissa and Lucius!
| thesydda chapter 13 . 2/9
Oh, I don't normally care about anything except Draco/Hermione when I'm reading their story, but I'm finding Theo/Daphne quite intriguing. Can't wait to see what you have up your sleeve, in that fantastic brain of yours, for them.
"My promise to you," he offered, using his wand and shrinking it down to fit. "I'm yours, Hermione." He kissed each fingertip sweetly and then looked back at her with a sad smile. "When you're ready, give this back to me so I can replace it with something more permanent and proper - on the other hand" - I LOVE this line! I think I've copy and pasted it into my journal at least a dozen times.
This plot! You're killing me. I love sneaky Hermione. Supposed to be bathing and breaks up a clandestine meeting - amazing!
| thesydda chapter 12 . 2/8
I love Hermione's disco ball joke and that Draco didn't get it!
I love the sneaky way you are having Theo come around to Daphne!
The scene, Tuesday morning, with the sex and then the crying was beautifully done and utterly believable. I know that must have been painful to write, but you did so well!
You can really feel Draco's emotions in that scene and I can't imagine how taxing it was to write that. Thank you.
Your reminder that he is only 17 was mind-blowing. I guess I always picture characters having the same emotional development I have, regardless of their written age, but imagining going through what they went through at 17 chills me to the bone. I can't imagine living through it now, let alone as an emotional teenager!
Ugh! You write emotions so well; I can literally feel their turmoil while I'm reading!
How interesting that Harry fell for Hermione at one point - that's something I'd like to explore - I'm not a Harmony shipper, but I'm intrigued by the idea of when Harry might have fallen for her and how that all worked out.
Toilets with curtained u-bends - you're hilarious!
This is just so much about this chapter I love - I can't wait to see what you have in mind for your rework of this story!
| thesydda chapter 10 . 2/6
I am always glad when writers give Lucius and Narcissa a loving marriage - they may not have gotten everything about life right, but I do believe they loved each other, and Draco.
You really know how to create a scene; I was reminded of that in this chapter. Instead of just telling us about how her friends comforted her, you describe the entire room and bring in little known characters, but it's not just the main action that makes a story. You're a genius.
Draco seems like such a loner - I mean obviously Crabbe and Goyle are often around him, but he doesn't let them in. And who really knows, but from the glimpses we got of his emotional state in sixth year, we know there's not anyone he confides in. It must be so sad for him to handle everything on his own. Even here, where he has Hermione, he won't let her in.
It's amazing to me to see how much misunderstandings play into stories, and it makes me wonder what in my life I am misunderstanding - I can think of a few possibilities off-hand!
Draco and Lucius' last words to each other were beautiful; I teared up, I'm not gonna lie.
This chapter was emotional to read, but so beautifully written. There was respect for the characters, and love radiating through the chapter. I know you never write painful things in just to write them, so I'm looking forward to figuring out the long term implications of this chapter!

I LOVE that he said I love you first. That whole scene rips my heart and bouys it at the same time.
I also love mushy Draco - him asking her to stay with him after December was perfect. I'm grateful all over again that you love Dramione.
I'm vastly curious to know if Draco's 'darker part' is an actual other part of him (like he's Veela or something similar)
This chapter makes my heart mushy - and then fearful for Draco - well done!
| thesydda chapter 8 . 2/5
Yay for resolving to resolve the tension! Sometimes it can be annoying to read stories where people are constantly kept apart because of misunderstandings. But I love this story, because even though they both love each other, and are too stubborn/scared to tell the other, you write them so realistically that it doesn't feel drawn out or fake or annoying. Why are you such a superb writer?
| thesydda chapter 7 . 2/5
Possessive/territorial Draco is probably my favorite Draco - you wrote him perfectly in the first half of this chapter!
I love Hermione here, how touched she is over house unity. Sometimes people write her so fiercely, they forget she has emotions, too. She cried more than once in the books, and I think house unity is something she would love!
Your characterizations are so well thought out. I like that you include so many details, but rarely is anything in there just for the hell of it - everything means something, or leads to something else, you know?
