![]() ![]() ![]() The play boxing was adorable. And the play fighting turning into real arguing, almost relationship-ending arguing - great contrast. I love that they fight like real couples - not being able to see eye to eye - and how Bella even lies to prove her point. There's such truth in that lie. (lol) And Edward, still insisting that everything is for her, while she says she's unsure if they're destined to be... But the fact that she can't let him go, nor does she wants to, should be her clue that they are meant to be. Poor baby. |
![]() ![]() ![]() "I miss you." Poor Edward. The beginning of this chapter was so riveting, Edward's emotions, the pace of the writing - I couldn't take my eyes away. And the relief that it wasn't suicide saved me from becoming too depressed here. That, and the fact that you've thrown in enough comic relief to balance emotions out. Nothing like laughing through teary eyes! |
![]() ![]() ![]() "When she's not garbage-picking or hanging out at liquor stores." This made me laugh out loud, and then I felt guilty when I read Bella's reaction. I'm feeling guilty over characters. You've created them so well, and with such depth. And there's such depth to this story that I don't even care that it'll break my heart. I feel fortunate to have found it and to be reading it. Speaking of which, I wanted to tell you that it was the "Spoiler" CF at ADF that piqued my interest in this story. Just thought I'd tell you since I always like when readers tell me how they found my stories. :) |
![]() ![]() ![]() Never has a story of jacking off been so sad. Brilliant. "I got in and kind of thought how tragic it would be if I suddenly had a heart attack or if the cables randomly gave out and I died without ever telling Edward that I'd fallen in love with him." - This part, oh my god. I used to think that way the whole year it took to plan our wedding. What if one of us dies? What if I break my leg? What if there's a car accident." It's such a simple, subtlety the way you wrote it, but it rings so incredibly true! It's a curious thing that Edward knows or feels Bella around. And also, I'm still thinking it's suicide with the "you left me" business. eeek... I want to be wrong. It's chapter three and these characters are already so round and dynamic. They feel real. :) |
![]() ![]() ![]() I love tap dancing Bella. So cute! This chapter makes me worry that Bella committed suicide. :( Or maybe she just did crazy, life-threatening things and Edward couldn't stop her? |
![]() ![]() ![]() okay, so it's going to take me forever to read this because I'm already fighting tears after the fourth paragraph. I've skimmed some of the chapters already to see if I can do this, and I can, but it will take some time. lol So Beautiful! |

![]() ![]() ![]() I'm sorry to hear that some people didn't stick with your story due to the angst. While it was in fact very sad, it was also beautiful in its own way and it made an impact on me. Thanks for sharing your story. |
