|Reviews for She Plays the Mandolin|
| Rameelia chapter 1 . 8/3/2010
Lovely little scene. Lowther was very in character, I thought, with all that 'I'm-in-awe-of-you' kind of attitude. I found this sentence absolutely heartbreaking, just because it shows that Jean's sort-of-using him as a substitute for her real love: "His worship continued, and as she reluctantly gave herself over to his veneration, the mandolin lay silent and abandoned on the floor." So nice.
