What does reeve's last line meant? Was he acknowledging the fact his father was right or he believes that he has already prove his father wrong. The only problem was the father's last line , is it a bit dramatic.
When you are a fit of rage i dont think you would be using your mind well enough to use dramatic words like that, you'd probably yell whatever pops in your head.
Then again this is just my view

Hah, and here's proof that the best showmanship is the subtle kind, the kind that takes years to master.
The father's outrageous reaction (man, I wonder if he started drinking BEFORE dinner) was a good shock to get the story started, and I like how satisfying the last line is. Another good study!
