Reviews for Epitaph for an Empty Grave
tseitz2328 chapter 1 . 3/26
Bravo! For me, top contender for best Rosalie, and best story about her. If you're still seeing these reviews, thank you. I'm genuinely impressed. And it's the only canon/vampire fic that I've read about her that ends with her having some peace.

I hope that you've continued to use your considerable story-telling talent somewhere.

Thanks again! Therese

I have read this before but I neglected to leave a proper note. I love the simple way real life happened to these characters and began a long awaited feeling of peace. wow your rosilie is amazing.

So, so moving - you gave us a new side of Rosalie. Thank you! She's so maligned for a lousy, vain attitude, yet you broke through all that in a realistic way! Wonderful writing! I hope you're working on your great novel!

This story is just... perfect.
TheWritingFreak chapter 1 . 7/21/2014
Wow, this was gorgeous. I enjoyed every second of it, honestly. The world needs more Emmett and Rosalie.
Knackard chapter 1 . 7/2/2014
Splendid. I love this. Beautifully written. Your Rosalie has teeth and brashness and determination, and she is not to be pitied. I admire her and I adore your Emmett ("In their free time, they mostly talk"). In your hands, they are far from the written-off characters they were in canon. Thank you.
meelee72 chapter 1 . 1/28/2014
Ooohhhh my gosh, I loved it.

I love Rosalie, but this story, these events, make me love her SO much more.
This was so well done.
Too well done for me to even have the correct words.
Well, well done.
shc92 chapter 1 . 10/12/2013
Rosalie beautifully captured - beyond "mean beautiful girl." Love your Emmett as well. Great insight into the family dynamic. A perfect missing moment. Thank you.
silverspiders chapter 1 . 8/14/2013
I don't think I've ever read a Rosalie captured so beautifully. In one brief one-shot, you gave her more depth than she's ever had in the entire canon series, or in fan-fiction stories 70-chapters long. Her snark, her deep underlying insecurity, her remorse, her pain, her fierce protectiveness, and her compassion were all written so simply, but so poetically, and so vividly. And as for her trauma, you wrote it so powerfully - one gets choked up just imagining how long she spent with those horrific memories playing in her head.

"...she takes her husband's hand, allowing him to help her up—not only off of the dirty floor—but also off of that Rochester street she hadn't even realized she was still lying on until tonight." Two lines, and I'm crying.
