Guest chapter 16 . 2/28/2021 This is such a wonderful story! I very much behind the times having only discovered these stories. And then to see imrahil with his own story! I loved it. |
guest chapter 16 . 11/30/2020 What an adventurous and entertaining story! The first part with the raid to Umbar was so full of action. I liked the idea to see a young Imrahil, his meeting with Thorongil and his changing opinions of him. The rescue of the slaves was wondeful and I am glad they all considered this first, than a quick attack. I liked so much Jibran and I was glad to see he succeeded his goal and although sad, he had a heroic end. The second part with the affairs of the heart was wonderful and witty. The don't-talk-to-me-about-marriage Imrahil fell in love with a clever woman who kept challenging him and made his life difficult, while the confusion with Mirineth complicated things more. But in the end, his persistence brought fruition and he had his happy ending with Aearin. Sergion had his own with Oriel -she deserved this- and even Mirineth found her own. A toddler Boromir glimpse was cute. The narration of all this over a drink with Elphir, Meren and Aragorn was an amazing idea. |
Sophia the Scribe chapter 16 . 12/2/2015 I like your take on the Corsair Raid in this; I've had quite a bit of fun reading it. Good job! Blessings, Sophia the Scribe |
DeepRootsAerNotReached chapter 4 . 9/16/2013 "All clear. I've three wounded, a collection of boys, and an old woman with a bad limp and a sharp tongue. How about you?" Man, this stuff is GOOD! XD I'm having a really good time with this tale! Frostless |
Guest chapter 2 . 9/16/2013 The idea that someone suspects Aragorn to be Denethor's illegitimate brother is so very, very funny to me... Frostless |
Ana chapter 1 . 8/30/2013 This was lovely. The enigmatic Imrahil with a human side. Loved the spelt water, cats and birds, never consider failure, lavender cakes, to reach a truce, a chink in the armour, her single-mindedness distractedlly watching the fire-eaters, the little frown above her nose, sitting on the wall, she is infuriating... Imrahil likes frontal surprise attacks. He considers the woman who annoys him as his prey. Seriously hunting now, infatuated, stunned, in love. Already using letters to push people. A later prey will be more difficult to handle. His equal. Ruthless. Very well structured. It is a pity we havent seen a darker side. Enigmatic character. |
Turwaithien chapter 16 . 4/26/2012 Definitely one of the BEST stories here I've ever read! I really liked how you turned a dazzling adventure into a beautiful love story. This story had everything and was a great read from start to finish. I have always been very fond of Imrahil but after your story I like him even more. SUPERB entertainment! I loved every word of it! Thank you! |
