| ThexInvisiblexGirl chapter 1 . 1/7/2010
first of all, i'm honored for having this piece dedicated to me - squeal! you know i'm always happy to help and give your ego a boost, as you do mine ;)
secondly, after i read it, i said there was more i wanted to say, but that was a few days ago and my memory gets worse with age (bleh), so let's see if i cover it all: i absolutely love the idea of Bella being good at SOMETHING. this is one disadvantage of the saga as a whole, i feel, not to find her a proper hobby that allows her to excell and express herself. i mean, sure, she's an avid reader, but who isn't? having her as a character with a field of interest which is unique to her makes her more developed as a character, and more distinct from Edward's character. he's always described as the perfect man, the one who can do anything, and i think it reflects on Bella in a negative way - makes her even more the damsel in distress because she literally can't do anything. this essay actually has a point lol, which is - i'm glad this little piece gives some depth to Bella's character, and i love the fact that even though it's different, it's still very much canon. so well done :)
