| Catmint chapter 1 . 10/9/2012
This is fantastic, as always from you! Contemplative, full of emotions, excellent characterisation, generally all-round brilliant.
One slight thing in the form of a typo: "Twin steaks on her cheeks" - somehow I think that's meant to read 'streaks' as I highly doubt she's got two hunks of meat on her face! ;-)
| Amilyn chapter 1 . 2/17/2012
Very nice. I like how you capture their awkward, brittle, stilted conversational style when they're trying to talk about any kind of, you know, *feelings* or the like.
| calistico chapter 1 . 10/30/2011
Another good one
| Anonymous033 chapter 1 . 9/4/2011
I thought it was slightly OOC, but maybe that's the way it should have played out instead!
Haha, I love the snails conversation. And the last line! He SHOULD get used to it :P
| LissieKay chapter 1 . 2/9/2011
I'm a firm 'nothing happened in Paris' person, but I can see something like this taking place. Heaven knows they need to talk, and not just kid and joke like they do, but really, seriously talk. Now if only we can pull a serious Tony and a serious Ziva out on the same day ... unlikely I know. Great job with this!
| willow fire chapter 1 . 4/21/2010
Nice way to break the tension :)
Hahahaha snails on pizza :P
| LunaZola chapter 1 . 4/3/2010
*sigh* wow, incredible - wow! Beautiful and amazing and wow. Makes me all warm and fuzzy inside. I need to hug someone now. This is exactly how I can see it happening... see them. This is just so Tony/Ziva. So perfect! :D
| Prissy and Bregan chapter 1 . 2/15/2010
I'm a little confused by the last line. Shouldn't it be "I am not going anywhere where I cannot watch your back?"
But other than that, this is a really awesome story (and I'm actually checking out Kerrison's next, but I'm sure it'll be a different take. There are a lot of different takes on Jetlag, I've discovered). And it is so true that Tony talks about the inane instead of the serious as a defense mechanism. Ziva never calls him on it though, so it's really nice to read a story where she does call him on it.
And the part about them discussing their broken relationship was heartrending. And I was so glad when they managed to come past that part and agree to share a pizza in the name of friendship.
Anyway, I'm mostly reading Jetlag stories, because they're such awesome stories. I mean, seriously. Yours is just one of many amazing stories that I had to add to my c2, which is devoted to all things Jetlag. And if Kerrison's writing is half as awesome as yours, I'll probably add his or hers too.
I am curious though. Now that you've watched Jetlag, would you change this story in any way or write another fanfiction for it? I think you should, your writing is awesome and I'd totally add it.
But I can only hope that you subscribe to the community as well and show your support for Jet Lag. But mostly I wanted you to know what a great piece of fiction you've produced.

Aw very nice little story.
| macadoodle3 chapter 1 . 1/22/2010
ohh cute in an angsty, gutwrenchingly, real and beautiful way. i can totally picture this happening. there better be some tiva like this in jetlag or i'll go insane, storm the writer's room and hold them at the point of a paperclip until they write a satisfactory episode. alright, rant over. great job with this :)
| Skye451 chapter 1 . 1/16/2010
excellent! very cute!
| DollyTheLlama chapter 1 . 1/16/2010
Wow! I loved it. Great job!
| tonysmel chapter 1 . 1/15/2010
I love when you described how Tony felt when he heard Gibbs say there were no survivors, and how he had emptied out. What a beautifully tragic image. This was a wonderful imagining of that one thing so many Tiva fans long for: "the conversation". They truly need to have this talk, and this was a very satisfying beginning. Thanks. And I'd love to see this added onto sometime in the future, even if in another story.
| mar-hhr4ever chapter 1 . 1/15/2010
oh how sweet! And I felt like they were really in character so well done for that :D
