Brilliant story. Can you write another. Your Kirk was really good. Clever dialogue
| Vana Valie chapter 1 . 6/20/2017
this is a great story! your ending is perfect! it is concisely, funny, i stopped reading with a smile on my face! after the very serious issue, abuse... You gave the abuser a good motive,... comprehensible, but not legal in any way...i love fics, where bones and kirk get to know each other... You did a really good job! and i think, "your" kirk was not too passive... he is a young man, his training just starts, this can't already be our great kirk from the series...regardless wether classical canon or reboot... thank you for sharing this great story!

this was sooooo good, i loved it! really do need more friendship fics between these two, and frankly i think u got both of their characterizations down perfectly! and i think i rlly could see reboot kirk acting the way he did, especially because of his past and everything, i dont think he wouldve ever been able to get back at reynolds while he felt so alone and distantced himself from everyone else
also, i love mccoy's reluctant, almost cranky form of being practically dragged into caring about jims well being and the lengths he went to help him out, that was rlly endearing and very mccoy too
also im a big sucker for hurt!jim and protective mccoy, and im so dang glad u wrote it as long as u did, not a one shot.
anyways, thank u for writing this, hope u have a good day!

It IS funny that every time they cross paths, Jim is in worse shape.
| reader1writer1 chapter 1 . 5/21/2016

| J. Salus chapter 6 . 8/25/2015
This was fantastic. You had some great lines in this story that were just phenomenal and made me laugh out loud, which is a very hard thing to do. I'm kind of a stoic reader :) anyway, wonderful wonderful wonderful
| tanseynz chapter 6 . 8/16/2015
Definitely interesting. Some of it really gelled and you certainly had an engaging plot and characters. Imo you left it open-ended with Reynolds just getting a slap on the wrist and a transfer, so you could develop it further.

Woohoo! Cheers for a fun, lively story that I very much enjoyed reading. :) You are receiving huge grins from this quarter.
Heehee... For large parts of this chapter I was nearly incapacitated by an irrepressible need to fistpump the air and shout, "BONNESS!" That was some epic Bones action back there. Right on. *high five*
Okay, was that a Doctor Who reference back there? "Don't worry, I'm a doctor." Nicceeeee
Thank you for writing! :D I enjoyed it.

Wait a second, wouldn't they have just used an osteoregenerator? I'm still a very green trekkie, but I really thought they had sci-fi gadgets for fixing broken bones...
By the way, I somehow forgot to comment on it last chapter, but... Was that a Star Wars reference? It was! Ohhhh you are good. ;D
(In case you can't remember what I'm referring to, Jim says, "I find your lack of faith disturbing."
Thank you for writing!
