Wow, it's been about 15 years since I first read this, back when it was first posted! I was just thinking about this fic today, and telling a friend about it (who thought it sounded both hilarious and awesome), and decided to see if I'd saved it somewhere (which I had). Lo and behold, it had a functioning link attached to it! :D FFN has survived the tumultous years well, and despite all its flaws is still going strong when other fic sites have floundered and died off.
This is one of my favourite X-Men fics, along with Twin Poles, and I think there has to be some awesomeness in someone still thinking about your story so very long after it was first encountered. :)
The idea of Charles being this Tarzan-in-space to the cultured and civilised Shi'ar is just such a delightful image, that I long ago adopted it into my headcanon. I'm shocked you're not indundated with favourites and reviews in abundance! In my mind you are the premier writer of Magneto fics, so it's a little jarring not to see the accolades that I fully expected to see after so many years as a writer.
I'm going to have a nice little re-read of your fics as time allows, as well as a trip down nostalgia lane. Just on a quick browse, I'm like, "Aww, 'The Common People' fics! Long time no see - that was a good archive. XXY universe! I remember that."
It's lovely to see you're still writing. I've been a reader of fics all this time, but only recently started writing myself (well, I wrote some Buffy fics a decade ago that never saw the light of day which trust me was for the best). I shall try and leave a review on each fic (probably shorter!) for you. xx

Wow. I was expecting this to be completely goofy from the title (which is hilarious, by the way). But it blends the absurd with the serious in a very clever way. I really liked it!

Y'know this is funny, but when you actually think about it, this story is actually more serious than people would realize. Thought provoking. It's good, and even though it's obviously meant to be a One-Shot, I would certainly look forward to seeing more of your work.i

Bravo! Well I must admit, how could anyone pass up a title like that? It's a wonderful story and so nice to see this more human side of Xaviar rather that just seeing him as the mentor.
