This chapter is a thing of pure beauty. But not for the angels, poor them. Except for Uriel. And to some extent, Belial. Yay, Belial finally got some action! Even if it was somewhat pathetic, he finally did get it. *squee*

Lucifer and Michael... *looks back to previous chapters* slashy twincest...? *coughcough* I wonder what Lucifer and Michael are going to be up to. If this is going to turn out anything like their battle in ML, probably it isn't going to be very good (not good as in a quality sense, because this hasn't declined in quality at all).

Poor Raphael and Zizi. This feels like it's going to hurt a lot. Okay, who am I kidding? It's going to be extremely, extremely, extremely painful and torturous. But it's okay, because they're going to be fine, right? Right?

Who was that guy in Lucifer's head? Surely not God. I can believe this, this betrayal, of the God from stuff like the Lucifer comics and Supernatural, but not the God you've shown us so far. The God you've written wouldn't do this to His most loyal servants.

And poor, poor Belial. In an otherwise tense section, that part was just... *sigh* *cuddles Belial* *pushes his hands back to appropriate positions* I was all SQUEE HE FINALLY GOT TO SNOG URIEL while just KNOWING Uriel would respond that way, but my heart still goes out to Uriel. Tell an adult he trusted! xD

Nitpicking: Raphael notices that there are demonic symbols in the leather straps. Azi also later notices that Azazel had taken the time to etch demonic sigils into the leather straps. ;)

... my hot chocolate turned into a congealed sludge. :(

Great chapter, well, as always. The scenes with Gabe and Mika had me laughing constantly, trying not to, so that I wouldn't anger the neighbourhood xD

Out of interest, is it because of the dearth of female characters that Newt/Anathema excepted (is it my imagination or were you hinting at Bentley/Azirapale 2? because the only other places I have seen that sort of ship is on the chronicles of Narnia and Harry Potter. Not criticism, just earnest curiosity) all your pairings are slash? Not bothered really, just slightl curious.

This entire chapter had me laughing, giggling, snorting, and choking all at the same time (though how that is possible, I won't know, especially since I had an open bottle of water in my hand) but it's probably this part that had me laughing the most (And I haven't even watched the movie yet):

"This is unnatural! This is, this is monstrous! This! Is! PLAGIARISM!"

And Newt. Newt is sorta strange, but I guess that's how it's supposed to be. I do wonder what's happened to Anathema, though.

The zombie calling Pestilence 'Daddy' is extremely cute, for some reason.
