your original claim in the first paragraph is not entirely true, as the shinto myth of the eight headed snake and the nordic myth of the world serpent are more analagous to gluttons than pillars of wisdom and mysticism, though the egyptian apophis does maintain the wisdom/immortality characterization while also being a glutton

I like these, it's sort of like trying to capture the image of each person in a few chosen words. It's no difficulty for me to guess which is who, though XD, especially since I can in fact read the hiragana/katakana/kanji.
Still reading through, but thought you should know that there's an extra word in Ino's haiku.
