Reviews for A Farewell
Sigrid Martell chapter 1 . 8/23
Oh Gosh I really HATE Rhaegar. Poor Elia...This story was beautiful.
Trins xxx chapter 1 . 6/7
I think this was one of the first stories I read about Elia that made me fall in love with her.

In this, I particularly love the subtlety. No grand gestures or exposition or speeches, implications more than anything else and I love it so. Additionally, I liked how you acknowledged Rhaegar's infatuation without diminishing it or discarding it.

Just loved it.

I was going to write my own fic on this. But I don't think I could top yours. It's magnificent. I think you captured both of their personalities really well, even though they haven't appeared in the books as living characters we can associate with. Great job. )

A great story. Very well written.
StarLight9 chapter 1 . 9/4/2011
So beautifully tragic. And they have no idea that they are seeing each other for the last time :( I love it how even though Rheagar loves Lyanna, he still cares deeply for Elia, considers her his friend and ally, and, most of all, knows that no one would have made a better wife and queen. Great work!
Drakulina chapter 1 . 7/2/2011
Wow. That was so wonderful and sad, it moved me to tears. I love the quiet love between Elia/Rhaegar. I wish there was more of them together.
Sera dy Relandrant chapter 1 . 3/29/2011
So lovely and so heartbreakingly sad... poor Elia, poor Rhaenys and Rheagar and little Aegon.

WandaXmaximoff chapter 1 . 3/13/2010
Great stroy. I'm facinated by the Elia/ Rhaegar/ Lyanna relationship, and I really liked your take out it. I liked that Rhaegar loved both women, just for different reasons. Also, seeing Aegon and Rhaenys alive (as it were) really brought home the impact of what later happens to them.

"He looked at Rhaenys, his hand gently touching her cheek. She was still sleeping, as innocent as her little kitten" - knowing how ir turns out, that line really chocked me up.

Over all, fantastic piece, I really enjoyed it.
