This fic was a blast to read. As with any piece of fiction, there were parts where it faltered, but overall, big hell yeah. I'm glad to have spent my weekend on it- If I can muster up the motivation, maybe I'll do some fanart :)))))

But yeah, holy fuck we're getting to the end! And by the looks of it, Reno of all people's gonna get involved. Fuckin' wild, man, I tell ya. I'm really, really happy with how close Loz and Yazoo have grown over the course of this fic, like, man.

Once again, wonderful chapter! My brain's all hhhhrhghhghghhhh so I can't say much else, but yeah. Als k, this fic has alotta violence. To be fair, can't expect anything less when it centres on murderous villains from the mythos of an action game.

CHrist, this was quite the confrontation. Everytime someone new showed up, I'd mutter 'what the fuck' under my breath. You know when you get that feeling that something like this would never happen in canon, and yet it makes full sense in the fic? Yeah, I had that.

The lads can't seemt he get a break, honestly. It's out of one frying pan and into another, constantly.

The further explanations and cuddles with injured!Seph were a joy to read. Shame that Yazoo ended up going the way he did, but I feel like paves the way for a rescue or something.

Finally, some answers on battered!Seph!

"Kadaj tried harder. Whenever Aerith asked, he flung himself into the void where his very essence was pitted against Jenova's. Her screams were more familiar than the scent of flowers and the gentle laughter of the meadow, but despite that, Kadaj fought against her every time, feeling the sharp shards of her hatred tear at him. He always woke up after the battle feeling empty and rattled. Aerith would be hovering above him, coated in the scent of flowers and staring down at him out of worried green eyes. In those moments, he always hated her."
Man- I really, really like this paragraph.

I like how this chapter delved more into Kadaj's situation. The revelation that he doesn't care about his brothers, to an extent hates Aerith, and his yearning for his 'mother'- On the topic of that, and I'm not sure if you intended this, but in that scene it felt like Jenova and Sephiroth were one and the same. Of course, I could be reading too much into this... But, it makes you think.

Lemme tell, you, this was a strange chapter- Absolutely befitting the labyrinthian feel of the manor. There isn't much more I can say, other than that Yazoo's been through way too much ;-; Both of them have, forreal.

Ahhhhhhh, christ. I'm curious as to the reason of why there's two Sephs- Maybe it has something to do with a psychological death? Maybe the upstairs Seph is an illusion? All very confusing, but I'm sure it'll be answered as the story goes on.

I just hope Yazoo and Loz' bond survives this. Considering what Yazoo's been through, I don't blame him at all for this reaction.
