this was a very poignant chapter for me, when I was a kid, I had a friend who had to have open heart surgery every couple of years because she had a hole in the heart, and pacemaker technology was new. I'm sitting here with tears streaming down my face remembering the day two days before her fifteenth birthday when her body could not fight any longer, and she lost her fight for life.

I am so glad that I found this story on the favorites list of another author I follow! The world building in this take is outstanding, the OCs were nicely developed as the chapters went on, and I loved every page of it. Thank you for giving us a Sirius Black that is unlike any I've seen in the many, many years that I've been reading Harry Potter fan fiction.

I binge-read Sirius' Savior over a day and a half, and I apologize that I didn't review every chapter, but I couldn't wait to see what happened next, and each subsequent chapter did not disappoint. I really liked how you developed the late 20th century wizarding world in the various countries that the plot led Sirius and Harry to, especially the magical USA. Frankly I much prefer your interpretation of how the magical government in America is run over the MACUSA of the Fantastic Beast films.

I particularly liked how you handled the after effects of Voldemort's killing curse on toddler Harry and how it was the basis for the needed separation from the Magical World for both Godfather and Godson. His magical "allergy" was a great way to limit Harry magically in his early years, and allow him to develop skills and grow in other ways that might not have been considered if he had not been so affected.

I could go on for hours about all of the things I've loved about this fic, but it is late now and I have to be an early riser tomorrow. I am so glad to have found your body of work, and I expect to binge-read on your other stories over the Thanksgiving holiday and the weekend following. Thanks for sharing them!

Why do you keep saying that stress is causing Beth's ulcers when it has been known since 2005 that in fact they are primarily caused by the Helicobacter pylori bacterium? You wrote this in 2010-11, did you miss the news and the award of the Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine that was awarded for the discovery? Apart from that the story is pretty good so far.
