Greatest chapter!

"Probie! Tim!" Tony pressed firmly on the gaping wound in the younger man's chest. "Shit!" The senior field agent cursed vehemently at the amount of blood that seeped between his fingers. Don't you die on me. Don't you dare. "Come on, kid!" Tony pulled one hand away from Tim's chest just long enough to check for a pulse. He was relieved to feel that McGee's heart was still beating, if slowly.

I love when Tony calls Tim 'kid' although it's been a long time! I wish he would again! It's SO brotherly! Love how you did that :) nice work :)

I am beginning to like these brotherly Tony/McGee stories.

And they both keeping taking the blame for each other. Saying that its there fault.

Tony needs to once and form all realize he is wanted and important. Tim jumped in front of him and got knifed to save Tony b/c he wanted to. To save Tonys life b/c he though he was worth it.

Tim rolled his eyes. "For the love of god, DiNozzo. Did anyone ever tell you that you're a moron?" Without waiting for an answer, he plunged forward. "Do you remember what you said to me in the forest? About thinking of me like a brother?" At the slow nod he received in response, Tim kept going. "Did it ever occur to you that maybe it works both ways?"

Tony stared at his partner uncomprehendingly. "What?"

Tony never thought anyone could or would consider him in that way.

I hope with Tim's help they finally got it through to Tony that his life is just as important as any other member of team Gibbs.

ahhh...such a nice ending! Lovely story, nice suspense and very creative with having Peter drug the coffee...how did Gibb's get back there so fast though..it didn't seem like an hour would have passed..but it works.

According to your authors notes...you had a difficult time writing this story..but it came out great, and reading it...I never would have guessed that you had been having any problems. ;-)

Nicely written...and ahhh...a nice brotherly moment between Tim & Tony...I also liked how you portrayed Tony as being in a position where he didn't know what to do..that doesn't happen very often (normally he just fakes it and goes with his gut), and you did a good job of writing it. Ziva is close, however I am a tiny bit glad that I am reading this after the story as been completed...so that I don't have to hang out on the edge of the cliff...lol...

Yeah...I'd agree that it was too easy..I thought that maybe they even had set them up for them to be able to 'escape' while they were focused on their chants or whatever it was that they were doing. At least now they know where the lance corporal is. :-)

Unfortunate that Tony didn't think to just speak honestly that he doesn't drink anything that he doesn't see being prepared...I wouldn't think that that would blow his cover...seeing as it is just a wise thing to do now adays. ;-)

I like that Tony's unwavering believe that Gibb's will find him, so far, he has always found him when he's in trouble. :-)
