Hmm - I don't know what to make of this yet. I kinda have a soft spot for Ron and I don't really think he's this inconsiderate of others - he's quite the pig here. I'm not sure why his attitude toward Snape is so nonchalant, bordering on nasty when he was the one who rescued him and saved his life in the first place. Was it merely the emotions of the moment that made him have the sympathetic sentiments toward the ex-Death Eater? And now that has evaporated with the relaxing of lives post war perhaps?

I don't really get Hermione's feelings for Ron - he's always been a bit ignorant of others around him, and she managed to look past these flaws back then... is she just fed up - or have you much more to reveal.

Not generally a fan of Hr/Sev - but I'll stick with this a little longer because I know you write awesome fics that usually make me look past that detail...

Interested to see where you take this. I don't like Ron, and even though I know this ends up SS/HG, I may have to bail depending on Ron-involvement/how long it takes to get rid of him. :P

That said - again it's well written. At this stage, I want to know most about the little boy we just saw: Hugo? (you did say you've changed the childrens' ages)...do they have the two or just that one son? I don't expect you to answer me in review. In story is just as good. :)

Why have I never read of Ron saving Snape before? 10 point to your house for creativity. Of course Ron turns out to be a complet sh1t in the present though. Why doesnt he support HG & HP in their opinions about Snape I wonder?

Very sad about the abuse is prision. I suppose its typical but still its upsetting. How many years again till he can do magic and get the he11 out of Hogwarts? 2? A freaking life time. I do hope he is eating better. Listen to me mothering Snape. Huh.

Even though I now have to admit to the benefit of a sneaky preview of the drafts for this (and thought they were ace enough), the final presentation of this has an authority that makes me part proud and part nauseatingly jealous. It's all there background, standings and the promise of more!
