That was an excellent fic all around! I absolutely adore Joe. I think he's the best OC I've ever had the pleasure to read. His verbal sparring with the Scarecrow was brilliant (all of the dialogue was witty; I envy your abilities), as was his tenacity and his personality in general. The past two days I have spent reading this have been a rollercoaster. Like, a good rollercoaster though. Not the crappy rollercoasters you find at a $10 fete. I'm talking a hella good rollercoaster. It is my new aim in life to not only have a much sass as Joe the cabbie in my normal conversation, but also inject as much sass as Joe the cabbie into my fics. I'm sad that I have only found this fic so recently, and it has inspired me to read more Crane fic. I salute you, friend.

But, as I was saying before I could properly edit and continue on, your stories never fail to provide me with great entertainment and joy not only on the basis of being a brilliant story regardless of the source material, but as the best collections of works for the Scarecrow I'd ever seen. He is an important character to me as everyone has a character or two that served to assist them in some mental battle or motivation. Perfect PERFECT work. Even your non-batman works contain such significant entertainment. (And excuse me as I praise the fact you both write non-ship plots and ship-plots that don't focus only on smut or canned romance. It makes me want to vomit just thinking about it.) Excuse my first half in being unfinished and half-edited. What a pain. But anyway, thank you for making and sharing these works.

It's a strange, strange thing that I find myself on your profile this much. I remember a time when I'd given this much attention to another ff author, firefly. You'd stolen the limelight, it seems.
As one of your(if not 'the') most popular sI have seriously reread this story 5 times. It's one of my favorite stories of all time, no lie. It's done better justice to my favorite batman characters than many canonized comics. I've done a review or two before but, with how many times I've read it, It seems kind of due to give you more praise.

I read this along time ago and really wanted to read it again. I went off searching and it took an hour and 17 minutes but here I am. I love this story.
