Woohoo! New stuff! "Four Minutes" was one of the best things I read last year, period, not just in terms of fanfic, and this certainly lives up to it. Wonderful interplay of fully realized characters, frisky dialogue, compelling storyline, and lovely, lovely illos. Je vous glompe beaucoup.

The only question that's been nagging me about this piece is "Where's Folken?" I don't recall his exact age relative to the others, but either he hasn't gone dragon-hunting yet, he's out there right now, or he's already vanished; in any case, surely there should be some sort of mention of him? However, it's not a huge niggle, and if he's not relevant to the story there's no real point in dragging him in.

Please, ma'am, can we have some more?

Woohoo! I loved this chapter; it was worth waiting for. I loved the humor and the part with Eries crying was very sweet. Darn that Marlene! Why'd she hafta go and ruin everything? Anyway, I'm looking forward to the next installment.

Just checked out the illustrated version on your website and yet again, I am amazed by your talents. Even if you had asked me before you wrote this exactly what I wanted to see in this fic, I don't think you could have made this more to my liking. The way you write the characters, the smart humor, the subtle touches in the pictures (Caeli for Dummies, indeed) and well, just everything is perfect. Even the titular kiss of chapter three. (I must confess, Dryden x Allen is the only yaoi Esca pairing that does anything for me and I think I overcompensate by liking it *too* much.) Congratulations on somehow managing to top 'Four Minutes' with another classic.
