| XxRav3nxX chapter 14 . 3/11
When Paige and Jared are talking about the flares I realised something, if you put out burning magnesium metal with water then it creates hydrogen gas which causes an explosion when it reacts with oxygen. So I'm not sure if that happens if it's completely submerged in water like it would be when she drops it in but I was wondering if they literally just risk blowing themselves up over not having to hold a flare above water or if you just didn't know. Any way this is an amazing story I hope you carry on with the editing :D

I really like your stories and I hope that you will repost the sequel soon or could you maybe send me the old version?
I hope to hear from you soon,

Just found this. This is a truly wonderful AU! Can't wait for more!
| DancerInTheDark101 chapter 26 . 5/19/2015
Kinda really confused here... one minute Ally is with Noah and having his kids, and the next she's engaged to Sam and the twins are his? I saw that you are editing the story, but I have no idea whether this was a part you haven't got to yet, or what?
Other than that I'm really liking this story. Seems a bit crowded with all the different characters and Sam seems to be a bit OOC, but I am enjoying it :) nice work, keep it up.
Thanks for sharing!
| klu chapter 21 . 9/2/2014
OK, I love that Sam is with Ally for the sake of Levi and because it's obvious neither of them actually got over each other anyway... But I do kind of feel jipped because we never even knew the two of them had the rendezvous that created this new Winchester baby - plus... I do feel really bad for Noah, not only was he a good 'Daddy' to Levi for nearly 2 year before Sam ever even knew he had a son, and he was now cheated on, lost a fiancé - all in a rather public manner, I might add- and Ally's pregnant again and going to marry Sam somewhat 'suddenly'. So, I kind of feel jipped out of a few convos between Sam and Ally as well as between Sam and Noah (maybe even a few fisticuffs).
I am also really intrigued and can't wait to find out: Ally was already kind of considered public enemy #1, by some of these guys for treating Noah unfairly; will this situation cause some bad feelings again, and with even more blowback on the Winchester family as a whole?
Excited, even if I am a little annoyed I didn't get a 'Jerry Springer' moment or two...
| klu chapter 19 . 9/2/2014
I really have been loving this story and just wanted to apologize for not stopping and leaving a review sooner, but I just couldn't stop myself from hitting the 'next' button. The only thing that slowed me down here was the fact that I was shocked that Paige didn't tell John he could do whatever he wanted, but she would NOT keep a secret from Dean, just because 'he has his reasons'. And I think you wrote John exactly as he would have been in that situation - which is another reason I felt she would have been fully justified to tell the man that she owed him nothing; her allegiance is to Dean.
The other thing I was surprised by is the fact that since the BAU knows fully well about all the supernatural 'things' out there, why didn't Dean/Sam call back to one of their contacts as soon as they were able and report that Dean was being impersonated and what they were up against? It just seems logical, before they got in so far over their heads... I was really thinking, because of your OCs and the world you'd introduced the brothers to, that you would have a very different take on this episode... I was just quite surprised that things went down like they did here. I'm very intrigued as to how you're going to work it from here and I look forward to reading more.
| Herbie The Time Travelling Car chapter 39 . 6/3/2014
I'm a little confused as to what is going on with Paige and Dean, one minute Noah was saying that John didn't know what was up with the boys, the next Paige knows Dean is in a coma, and then she's at the hospital and Dean is in surgery? I love your story and think it is amazing, I'm just a little confused
| Guest223Truth chapter 11 . 11/16/2013
Well, I think this is one of those "life lessons" people keep telling me about. The lesson: Only because many people seem to like something, does not mean it's any good. Like Twilight. I don't know if this is right or not, but I'm sensing you're more of a Dean-fan? Because, quite frankly, you seem to be rather harsh (and I'm putting that nicely) with Sam. I honestly have no idea where to start with this, so sorry if I seem to jump around a bit. Um, first off, Sam and Dean are VERY OOC. Even if Dean had a wife and kid, he just doesn't seem like Dean. At least, not the canon Dean most fans seem to know and love. The only time you seem to capture the majority of Dean's actual personality is when you're repeating lines from the show itself. And even then it contradicts with the personality YOU'VE given him, making him seem either bi-polar or hormonal. Also, you made Sam, as in SAM WINCHESTER, out to be a CHEATER? Are we thinking of the same Sam? 'Cause I don't think we are. Unless we are talking about Season 4 or Season 6 Sam, most people know he's NOT horn dog. And he definitely isn't the unfaithful type. The guy feels guilty watching porn. Okay? Cheating is big friggin' deal, I HIGHLY doubt Sam would ever do that. Not to mention all of the drama that happens AFTER Jess dies. Dean is practically rubbing his nice and happy life in Sam's face. That comment about Sam not having kids was rude, I'm sure Sam would have liked to have a child with Jess if she wasn't, you know, DEAD. So that's nice. And Dean seems upset more about Sam's need for revenge than Sam's attitude about it. Sam was [is] more sensitive than Dean when it came to Hunting, so when Sam turned angry, Dean turned concerned. Also, I don't WANT to be rude, but uh, I don't think it's fair of you to say you get what Sam is feeling. We all know the story of the YED, but it seems that you're not getting it. Imagine this, I don't know how old you are, but Sam's 22 here. BARELY an adult, HARDLY even legal, he's YOUNG. Which means he can't be responsible all of the time. Something killed his mother in the middle of the night, pinned her to the ceiling, sliced her gut open, and burned everything to the ground that SAME SOMETHING comes for his girlfriend, his love, his future wife, and does the Exact. Same. Thing. And damned if that doesn't feel like a conspiracy against you. Now let's throw in the dreams -the visions. Have you ever felt guilt? Ever felt like you could have and should have protected someone you love if you'd only followed your gut? If you have, than maybe you could understand his situation more, because he COULD have saved her, he could have been there when the demon came, could have put protective symbols around the house, could have STOPPED her death. But he DIDN'T. He feels GUILTY and all Dean has to say is quit being emo? Yeah, that's not Dean-like at all. Sam is young and scared and paranoid because this thing is coming after HIM, killing HIS loved ones and he needs SOMETHING to stop the pain, for life to make sense again, and that's revenge. The Winchester way. And he needs his dad, the only one might have SOME clue how he's feeling and SOME way to find and kill the thing that ruined his life and future and since he can't find his dad, he needs his big brother, the same big brother that seems to not even care about Sam any more, much less his problems. And then when they're in the woods with the Wendigo, Sam marvels at Dean's strength but Dean couldn't seem to do the same to/for Sam. Dean is only AWAY from his loved ones, Sam's died and he watched her die, and still Dean doesn't seem to care. What would happen if Dean watched Paige die, burn, and bleed from the demon HE'D brought into their home, and the only thing Sam had to say was quit being so emo? I'm sure it'd be a different story than. Of course it would, 'cause it'd be YOUR character and it'd be DEAN who's life was in ruins. Basically you make Sam look like a child with temper tantrum -rather than grieving man- and Dean like a caring brother -which he should be, but your Dean is kind of an ass...No, he IS an ass.
Some of your own characters seem pretty strong, if not a little cliché (retied Hunter? How unpredictable [sarcasm]), but they do seem fairly well-rounded, yet The Winchesters are totally out of sync and out of character. Maybe you should re-watch Season One. Also, it wasn't much of bomb drop when we found out about Sam and Ally. I saw that coming since last chapter, it was only a matter of time. And since the guys not going through enough, hey! Let's throw in another girl and a kid. And, since I'm not reading any further, God only knows what you're going to do with the kid. Can demon blood be passed down? And I'm just taking a future guess here, Sam and Ally get together?
The truth is, your story made me cry. You took something beautiful -Sam and Dean's bond- and practically butchered it beyond repair. It was PAINFUL to read. I'll never know if you fixed this, made it better, made them together, but I simply cannot read any further and that saddens me.
Dean Winchester, Sacrifice: "Don't you dare think that there is anything, past or present, that I would put in front of you! It has never been like that, ever!"
Zachariah, Point of No Return: "You know Sam and Dean Winchester are psychotically, irrationally, erotically codependent on each other, right?"
Sam Winchester, AHBL2: "You've saved my life over and over. I mean, you sacrifice everything for me. Don't you think I'd do the same for you? You're my big brother. There's nothing I wouldn't do for you. And I don't care what it takes, I'm gonna get you out of this."
Chuck Shurley, Swan Song: "So what's it all add up to? It's hard to say. But me, I'd say this was a test... for Sam and Dean. And I think they did all right. Up against, Good, Evil, angels, devils, Destiny, and God himself, they made their own choice. They chose family."
| Lady Shagging Godiva chapter 11 . 5/11/2013
I like your story, especially the prequel but it feels like you're sticking too close to what happened in the show when it doesn't really apply, like Dean not drawing Paige and Sammy in his family portrait or Sam's comments to Dean.
| Dark Archer chapter 7 . 12/9/2011
Oh YES! I love this new Dean.:) You handled the Confession to Sam VERY well. And The introduction of the family was just sweet. The moment gave me one of those warm fuzzy feelings. Great job:')Dean this chapter is definately Country, like when he was metioning the horses. That's good, it shows how different he is in his home, what's rubbed off on him and what's not. Great Job, Once Again.:)
| Dark Archer chapter 6 . 12/9/2011
I think you have Sam's name misused in a few sentences. "it would be along time before Sam got over Sam's death" for instance. Also, the "Who's this, Sam?" reads like it was addressed for Dean to answer. So shouldn't she have said Who's this, Dean?". This story is really great! I love the new Dean, He's mellow and the OC family is Awesome! "the Kennedy's of Whyoming", indeed. This story is wonderful, I can't wait to read more. Also, I have a mini rant about the season 1 Sam from the series. This has nothing to do with the story, I don't think. It's just my frustration about what I think is going to happen, that while I know is neccessary, just rubs me the wrong way. I bet Sam is probably going to be irate that Dean didn't tell him everything. (I don't like that Attitude. It's like Dean just HAS to tell Sam Everything before his brother drops the matter, but Sam can just say as little as he wants. It seems like, in the beginning, that Sam is Whiny. This has nothing to do with your characterizations it's just the impressions I got from the show Its self. You've Done a great job! I just dread the upcoming Sam gets angry and makes Dean spill all of his secrets, that I think is going to happen.). Rant Over. This story is really great. Don't take my rant into account if you want to read the story, it was more a rant against the official series Sam , not this Sam... at least not yet;)
| Bundibird chapter 34 . 7/28/2011
I read this last night, just before I went to bed, and it was really cool because today my cousin is going to be having a little baby boy! so it was really awesome reading Jace's birth when the same thing's gonna be happening at my end of the world and this time tomorrow I'm gonna have a little baby cousin!
great chapter- I so lol'd at the false alarm in Jay's diner. good work ally. :P
| Bundibird chapter 31 . 7/20/2011
Ahahaha - it is because of this episode (The Benders), and Dean's comment about having to start carrying paperclips that I - no joke - have a paperclip hooked on to the belt-loop of every single pair of pants I have. I'm being totally serious. They're actually super useful - I've been able to use them more than once. Though, never to break out of a pair of handcuffs or into a lock, as was undoubtably Dean's intention.
Great chapter though - you skimmed the episode well enough that you reminded us all what happened but we werent sitting here going, "Yeah, ok, I get it - I watched the episode too."
Still loving this fic! I can't believe you're only 18. I mean - I'm not that much older than you, but I wasnt writing this well three years ago!
| Bundibird chapter 24 . 7/16/2011
Aw, yay! I'd hoped that they'd adopt the boys! man, I'm LOVING this story.
Hahaha- thank you for the night light. it helped. *grin* it's because I didn't know what the heck was coming! dude. I can't handle suspense. and for a person who loves supernatural, I cannot abide horror. my imagination's way too vivid. I freak myself out.
| Miso Muchi chapter 13 . 7/15/2011
Well written, well thought out, though the jump to this proximity alert thing was a little confusing. Unfortunately, this isn't my cup of tea, but good story before this.
