Gods, this is such a brilliant heck of a story. You portray all emotions so perfectly, and that scene with trying to get Roger to the hospital wing was chef's kiss. Like, how do you do that? Love all your stories. Thank you.

I have this odd feeling that I've read this story before but this just makes me want to read it again even if it has been abandoned. Fate's Favourite was so good that I couldn't pass up the chance to read the prequel.

I actually didn’t remember that you stopped updating this in 2016. I first read it while you were still updating both it and Fate’s Favourite. And I frequently reread both (as well as the romance chapters of Destiny’s Darling). I still have the hope that you’ll continue and finish Past’s Player, even now in 2022. Your stories to this day are my favourite fanfictions EVER, to the extent I consider your verse canon even over J.K. Rowling’s. But I understand if you’ve lost the motivation to continue this for good, especially if other Reviewers are being cruel. I will always appreciate you writing what you have written of this amazing verse. Thank you for your time and I hope that you haven't lost your passion for writing in general. It would be a waste to the world to lose your creativity.

I saw Fate's Favourite recc'ed elsewhere, started reading that, saw that you had a prequel and jumped over here instead. Really liked it! The viciousness between them, the grudging respect, the hatred, the interest despite themselves, you write a really compelling characterisation. I enjoyed getting to know the baby death eaters and Roger and Imogen, you did really well balancing the different characters and letting us get to know them. Makes sense that you're not continuing this one, that is a good spot to end it in and F's F will tell me what happens next anyway!
