Ok, correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm pretty sure by the end of Johto Ash was already pretty experienced and could take care of himself. Here it's like Misty and Brock are just holding his hands for everything even though Ash was much more independent than that at the time. Sure they help a lot, but Ash was already pretty strong at this point and here it's like he's just an incompent idiot. He also sure as hell didn't need all this hand holding to beat Clair, geez, it's like this is Kanto Ash or something.

"No, you saved my life, Latias. Ash was only a means to an end," Latios interjected sharply, narrowing his eyes. "Don't take credit off of you and give it to them, credit you earned and deserve. You were the one who did everything."

Geez, way to be an ungrateful asshole Latios. He basically just admitted that they used Ash like a tool and he doesn't even care. Their father even told them Ash would've died for real if he hadn't gotten Latios power to stabilize him, something that Latias just had a feeling it would work. And none of this shit was even Ash's problem to begin with. I'm really not buying their relationship.

The story was really good, I mean it. Up until this point. Prison Ball kind of ruins the remainder of the story. I can understand the evil vile ball itself and having a high capture rate against majority of pokemon. But in real life comparisons there's no such thing as a pokeball capable of capturing a legendary unless they wants to be captured with the exception of maybe the few baby's of a species that gets born and certainly not the one of a kinds like kyogre, groudalon and rayquaza. Unlike the regular pokemon they pretty much have access to the forces that make up that world. Using Hoopa as an example doesnt work seeing as how the item that bound it itself isnt a scientific marvel so much as an item forged using the energies of the world to contain it and was most likely sanctioned by Arceus due to the issues Hoopa was causing in the world. I can understand a ball designed to work this way though for pokemon not legendary thatd let them fight on a legendaries levels being a stepping stone to capture one themselves but again that energy has to come from somewhere and they'd probably burn themselves out faster. Also without willpower they'd launch a few of those attacks and then be spent despite whatever orders are given so they wouldnt have the ability to dig deeper. Then there's the problem with the concept of killing those parts of them. The pokemon would effectively be braindead without any of those factors there which means they wouldnt be able to take orders or move anyways. Idk this concept ruined a perfectly good story for me, but tha is for the write up I'll probably just remember fondly as a closer than canon fight for first in the silver conference.

I couldn’t help but notice that when Gary thought 'And please don't do anything stupid, like you usually do,' NOT saying it out loud but Ash responded to him. Are you suggesting that Ash is starting to develop psychic powers.

Team Rocket sounds like an EXTREMELY serious threat, Ash is going to have a hard time saving the world, again.

This is going to be amazing. I can’t wait to see what you have planned with all of this, and I can’t help but have a feeling that Ash is going to somehow managed to get through to the captured or Incarceration Pokémon.

Now it’s just Ash and his Pokémon again, I hope it isn’t long before Brock comes back. I also wasn’t expecting Ho-oh to just appear like that, and I am REALLY starting to get worried about what that object is that Team Rocket has, it seems really deadly.

Nice story so far. As for the poll (1) MareShipping (Bianca), (2) Abilityshipping (Anabel), (3) PearlShipping (Dawn), (4) MorpheusShipping (Angie), (5) AmourShipping (Serena). Bianca might have developed feelings for Ash as she saw how much he risked in saving Latias and Latios. Then she got to see how well he cares for his Pokemon. Salon Maiden Anabel developed feelings for Ash because around him she was able to have fun and she also understands the bond Ash's Pokemon have with him. Anabel was able to sense the bond of love and respect that Ash's Pokemon have for him. Dawn saw the incredible bond between Ash and Pikachu and hoped that she could have those same kind of bonds with her Pokemon. Ash and Dawn also inspired each other to try new things that made them and their Pokemon better. Angie saw how good Ash was with Pokemon during Pokemon Summer Camp in Sinnoh. She developed feelings for Ash after he saved her life two times. Serena has feelings for Ash stemming back to Professor Oak's Pokemon Summer Camp when he found her after she got lost and injured her knee. Ash then helped her to her feet telling her to never give up until the end. Ash Ketchum's enthusiasm can be quite infectious when you are around him long enough. The fact that he is a nice guy on top of all that makes Ash very appealing as a potential boyfriend to a few girls who know him. Not all of them, but enough of them for Ash to have a small harem.

I swear, Team Rocket could have the most powerful, dangerous and biggest weapon in the entire universe and they’ll still find a way to lose.

I was surprised when Latias decided to battle against Lance. And she did good for her first battle with Ash. And as for Team Rocket, I wonder how much of a pain there going to be for Ash with there new machine, it’ll sure be interesting to watch them battle up against Ash again.

This chapter was amazing! I was on the edge of my seat the entire time! Every moment was exhilarating, and with that little scene with Ash and Latias at the end just warmed my heart! Also, what the heck is with Lance? He seams VERY different here than in the show, and is he really going to try and take Latios from Ash? That’s just messed up!

It’s starting to look like Latias isn’t ever going to officially join Ash’s team.

That was an amazing battle! I just new Ash would find a way take it that Shedinja down! And that battle with Salamence was just as amazing! Although I wonder how Ash will do in the semi-finals without Latios. Let’s just hope that all of Ash’s other Pokémon can hold up without him.
