I really hate that Barry's so inept with magic. You literally haven't given Harry even one thing to be really good at. Sure he's decent at quidditch but you make it a point to say that he's not better than the others by much. Like there's nothing special or powerful about him. Kinda boring just reading about a random lame kid who seems to get outshined by his peers in every regard. Even occulumency is somewhat passed off as his childhood and his mother's aide, not his talent. This fanfic probably has the single most useless Harry Potter in existence

This was an excellent story. The characters were changed, but believably so, and I loved seeing a redeemed Lucius and Snape fighting for their children and caring for all the school. Harry, Draco and the twins were different but so well done that the story worked and the finish was very satisfying. I enjoyed Dumbledore’s end!

I enjoyed this story - really like the way that Severus became Harry's father - but... Hermione...an extremely frustrating and annoying character in the books became even worse in this story, her arrogance was ridiculous and I was really disappointed that she survived.

Well, a long slog but done, and with the Fiend and Dumbles both dead - good riddance to bad rubbish. Good luck and happiness to Snape and Poppy. And thanks!

Good to see Crooks so early. Snape's right: anyone who tried a physical assault would almost certainly come out on the losing end. Still, Crooks couldn't avoid a spell unless he saw it cast, so good on Snape for protecting him.

Let's hope Granger (who ~is~ an insufferable know-it-all) heeds Snape's advice. Though I dislike her, the Gryffie bullying is inexcusable (though of course expected). McG is a Troll Head of House.

This is a very interesting start. Since you're gone (and I'm tired) I won't review often or deeply but want to thank you for your work in case you drop by once in a while. Your changes to canon are intriguing, and I'm always happy to spend time with Snape.

Thoroughly enjoying the story so far. Interesting fact about dogs, when they chew on things too hard for them, usually bones, but I'm sure the rock cakes apply similarly,it actually strengthens and even whitens their teeth
