Bwah? Wow...I'm SO behind on my gaming universe facts when it comes to Mass Effect! Then again, much as I have two of BioWare's RPG masterpieces (the two Knights of the Old Republic games), I haven't actually played them...never enough time to get properly involved :(
Still...this chapter was all kinds of awesome, if only for Felix channelling Hoban Washburne during the Middleton's fight with the Lowardians :D
Speaking of which...I'm starting to get an odd feeling about things if Master Sensei is actually Hana Stoppable, since Kim and Ron exist and they treat her like a grandmother. Clones? The originals, but frozen in stasis for centuries and brainwashed to thinking they're from the 23rd century? Can't wait to find out the answer ;)

Guess the System Alliance has shown Team Possible that sometimes, you gotta break a few heads permanent-like to get a job done and keep the world (or universe) safe. Cuz I can't imagine Kim and Ron causing that much havoc in their teen years just by themselves ;)
Another fantastic piece of work, Classic Cowboy!
| BlueEyedBrigadier chapter 1 . 7/3/2010
Oh wow...things are gonna get pretty interesting if this tale follows the general stoyline of ME2!
| Quathis chapter 3 . 6/17/2010
Gotta love screwy times and new surprises . . . like Kim finding out she's a father! Didn't see that one coming. Enjoyed the brief action and the mystery of Hana. Until next time.

Asari biology is still a mystery to me. Even if they are capable of reproducing without the need of a male, why in this case do they possess reproductive organs akin to human females? For that matter, why are they referred to as "she" and "her" when they have only one gender. I know what an asexual species is (the drak of Enemy Mine comes to mind) but their biology is too similiar to humans for it to be coincidental that human males can mate with them in a normal basis. Perhaps, sometime ago, there were male asari. Who knows?
Rufus as a volus. I didn't bother to change his role as Ron's animal companion when I attempted to write my KP/ME crossover. I think your idea is better. Having a nake molerate on Ron's shoulder while he fights the geth is strange.
One thing I noticed is that you capitalize the aliens' names. Asari, Turians, Salarians etc. are the names of the species in the Mass Effect universe. They are not capitalized just like we don't bother to capitalize humans. That's what I noticed in the game and in the novel series. They are written as asari, turians, salarians, volus, and so on.
So much to comment on; where does one begin?
By adding Mordin to the mix (he's my favorite character in the sequel) you're already connecting this story with the game. He goes off to Omega which is where Commander Sheperd finds him. The way he analyzed Kim and Ron, making them feel uncomfortable made me smile because that is so much like him. I finished the game, btw. Wow. I mean freakin' WOW! I'm happy to report the good doctor has survived. Did you manage to save the entire crew? Me, I lost Jack, but that's it. If you did save everyone I'd like to ask you how. I know you have to gain their loyalties but...ah we'll talk about that later.
I kind of wish Shego was an asari. Her powers would make her fit perfeclty with that race. True she can still be a biotic and Yori is absolutely perfect in that role. The only problem I've had was Ron's seemingly superhuman role. I know he's military-trained and all but some of his Ronnness was lost on me. It seems everyone's taking the role of making Ron a super badass who's very well-endowed (ala Shego's remark in the shower). I'm glad he stepped up in the final episode but making him too god-like, and the way he talked down to Yori, just seems OOC to me. Ron's no Sheperd. He's not even a Kaiden Alenko.
Kim was perfect. She stays in character for me the whole time through. I'm not too happy to see Hanah in the mix, I'm sorry to say. I didn't like her in the series and I doubt I will in a fanfic, but we'll see. You're doing impressive so far.
The lowardians seem so tame in comparison to the geth, the collectors and the reapers. I except they serve the same bland antagonistic role as the vorcha do.
I'm glad to see this story coming along. God I love this game!

Ron may be the same old lovable goof, bu ton the battlefield he's all business. And may I say, I like that the Lorwardians are laughing stocks now.
So Kim's got a daughter she never knew about, does she? I wonder how Ron's going to cope with that bit of news.
I am really enjoying this one, CC. I've been kicking around the idea of doing another playthough on the Mass Effect games with a new character to see if I can pull off renegade.
