sure Ian's domesticated, much like Sigfried and Roy's tiger was domesticated; he still has his fangs and claws, and he isn't afraid to use them lol. awesome fic, i'm really loving this arc! thank you so much for sharing it!
| Naesse chapter 6 . 8/8/2011

I love the relation Ian/Charlie :)
| JBubbles chapter 6 . 6/22/2011
Don't really liked the real sappy ending. But I liked the drama of Ian's own brother making that mess... you could have explored more, but it was good. Good job.

| Cinnamon Selkie chapter 6 . 10/17/2010
The idea of a semi-domesticated Edgerton is really quite adorable, Great story. Cinnamon.
| JapanFan20 -Harumi20 chapter 6 . 9/22/2010
I like the sequel too. I understand that it is difficult for Ian to do his job because of his relationship with Charlie. He takes care of Charlie and his father and I think that's a normal development in such a situation. And that he takes a time-out, it's ok. Charlie has comprehension of Ian's behaviors. Don acts like Don and he is quite the big brother, always worried about his little brother.
I like the scene at the end of the story with the two men and the little girl named Chloe. And Alan finally gets a granddaughter. That's so cute. *smile*
All the chapters are very well written.

ohhhhhhhhhhhh: I inspired the last chapter? wow. It's my first time lol.
I was so happy to see this chapter. A little sad (akay, a lot) about it being the end.
I was surprised to find this end more fulfiling than any other could have been. I liked the way Ian lay a hand on the little girl neck... It did indeed, like the chapter's title wanted for us to, made me remember the puppy Ian had to put down. For one breath, my heart was heavy with the idea... Then, I read the next words until the little one comes into the room... and you explained she would be alright. And suddenly, there was a bright hope where sadness had been for the puppy.
Choices, life, hurt, hapiness. Ian went throught many feelings, and all because of Charlie being in his life. But in this, Charlie was the guiding light for him, for things Ian already had in him but was hiding from while living the life he was used to.
I love your fanfiction. Love all the feelings that went in it, and the simple and effective writting you have.
The story and it's prequel flow together in one life adventure.
I can't help but want for more... because I loved so much.
So I would try and beg you for a one-shot at least with their new daughter. Maybe with Charlie doing something that will make her speack? And us discovering that she is a strange and beautiful mixing of those two men, spiritualy speacking
I don't want to close this window... it will be sad for me not to have this story to read anymore... well, I can still re read it... ohhhhh, good idea lol.
With much love.

Domesticated...xDDD Oh the life of a sniper with a relationship... This has been a wonderfully entertaining fic so far! I really like how you handle the development and ups and downs of Ian's mentality. How it all makes sense. Though the whole story won't resolve itself until it is complete, and so I definitely look forward for more! Hopefully, soon x3

I saw an episode of Numb3rs three days ago. It was the one where Ian is accused of killing someone and ends up taking Colby hostage in a prison. One of his demand being that Charlie helps him proving that a prisoner who had evaded was still in the prison itself.
This Ian, who tells Colby he won't ever let himself be impresoned, remind me of your Ian. The one who has a crisis because he find himself losing his old freedom of wandering sniper.
And now, it seems he's learning a new kind of freedom: freedom to love, live and still be him. Something he never knew. Give himself to someone else, and receive in return more than he ever received in life.
As you write it, I find it the best gift he could have been given. And I love how 'himself' he is while with Charlie. How you can see the basis of who he is. And even see more than you can from him just doing his work, even if it's his passion too. Being with Charlie really surpasse that passion. But it still doesn't erase the 'old passion of firearms' It compliments it. like two faces of a piece (coin?). One face is being a sniper, the other face is loving Charlie. One cannot be separated from the other.
It seems that until now, Ian simply had a piece he could only see one side of. And now, the other side was revealed to him.
I love this story too.
Even the part with Ian brother. I hope Ian will kick his ass lol.
