It is a testament to the intestinal fortitude of Hermione, Harry, and Sirius (and Remus as well) that they did not even hesitate to flambe those bastards who had already done so much harm, and would do so again. Maybe not Barty Crouch Senior. Yes, he was guilty of using an unforgivable multiple times on his son, but he did not kill, rape, torture, etc. as the Mortality Munchers did.

It hit me how very lonely Minerva must be from that comment about her wistful look. As I have many of your suggestions queued up, I thought I would mention flamethrower's most excellent "Of a Linear Circle". It is a very long, and extremely well-written time travel tale. It also has the virtue of Minerva finding love late in life.

Flowed from one point to another, so never felt like a trudge to get through.

Thank you very much for writing this story. I love the ‘realness’ of it, and how well the characters are portrayed, both close to their cannon, yet perfectly believably different as a result of their circumstances. My only regret is lack of justice for the Dursley’s. (If they wouldn’t stoop to their level then at least imprison them for 20 years. That together with a wedding invitation to Lord Potter’s wedding while they’re rotting in jail should be ..not really enough, but enough so one can live with it, imho)

Still, this does not detract from such a cool story. I hope you’re still writing because you’re amazing.
