|Reviews for Marlboro Red|
| Jacobleah chapter 1 . 3/1/2010
I absolutely loved it. So well written and detailed and really sweet. It seemed as if you knew a lot about Forks and reservation life. It was lovely to see Leah and Jake as they were before they phased and their lives changed. Thank you for that.

Poor Leah. I've always felt so sorry for her. I think she's one of the most-if not the most-hard-done-by characters in the series. I can't even imagine what it'll be like seeing the guy who ditched you every day, hearing his thoughts, having him be able to hear yours...it's just awful.
Jake doesn't say anything else for a moment, and it takes Leah a moment to respond. When she does, her voice is angrier than she intends it.
The words seem to sum up a lot more than the love of her life's former affinity for Marlboros.
Amazing how two words-or four words-can say so much.
I really enjoyed this. It's beautifully written, as usual, and the reflective, melancholy tone works very well. It's lovely :)

This is, of course, lovely, like everything you write. And, it may be the first time I've read Leah and Jacob, so it's encouraged me to expand my horizons!

Really good story. I normally don't like Leah, but this one-shot kinda shows where she stands. Nice job. ;)
