So very sad and so realistic. The details you put in it make the story so convincing and really amp up the emotional impact. Just the thought of the shovels and hammer in the trunk as well as Dean's duffel bag, packed as if he would need it, made me ache for Sam. Sam's reflecting on Dean's comments about dressing him when he was little was so touching and a lovely tie-in to their years together as brothers. Bobby touching Dean's hair before putting him in the coffin - again, such a REAL detail. And then the image of the shadow of the coffin darkening Dean's face - such a sad finality. You were able to communicate clearly Sam's utter devastation at Dean's death as well as his rising anger. I love stories that are RICH and AUTHENTIC and yours is.
