There are a lot of people out there who could benefit from a little help like Bella is giving Edward. A lot of people don't naturally know how to interact with people in a customer facing role.

I've read this several times before and it is one of my all time favourites. Twi Fanfic Recs put it up today so I just had to read it again. This is so touching as Bella sets Edward on the path to a good life and away from wasting his life away.

I read this story when you were first posting it. Now rereading it I'm right around Bella's age in this story, which gives it a different feel. But it's still a lovely read. Thank you for sharing your writing

This story was... adorable, amazing, so well written!
It's been a while since I've read a story I can't put down. I literally read it all last night well into the morning hours, and I will suffer for it today but it was so, SO worth it.
I don't think Edward was shallow in the sense that he portrayed in the beginning. I think looks is how he got by with all the difficulties he had in other aspects of his life, and that's what he was "best" at so that's what he focused on.
I loved his development. Along with Bella's. They both changed for the better and they fit so well with each other. Sigh.

I really believe age is just a number but 18 years a lot of years when the 2 people have nothing in common. Why would a successful 41 year old woman single out Edward? I can only think because of his looks. He had done nothing exceptional in their first meeting to make him noticeable.

I was wondering if she was an author going on tour but I can see it’s having to do with security.

So maybe Bella isn’t as old as was portrayed, maybe just run down.
Bella was the one who told Edward not to listen to the nasty things that people say

Is Bella work in internet security?
Bella is a bit strange, I can’t figure her out. The fact that she assumed Edward would ask Frankie her age and intercepted it makes it seem like she is playing a game.

I am hoping they aren’t going to end up together since Bella seems older than I thought.

Edward’s parents showing up to check out the cougar seemed extreme since he is a 22 year old man, not a child. Alice is a little feisty.
