You only pointed out half the problem. MC declined nanite injection that fixed sight and made him fit with the most retarded reason ever. It's not like it made him permamently glow green. The only reason you made MC declined is not to give him huge power up. But you did so in moronic way. It's not one extreme or the other, it's the middle ground that is the best.
