Back when I was a more voracious consumer of Naruto-related media, this fanfiction was a favorite of mine. It's been a good couple years, but I was really surprised (and delighted) when I saw that the story had been updated as recently as July 2019! Wow! It's been almost ten years since the first chapter was published, and it's amazing that this story is still getting updates. It's always a shame when a really good fanfic is left unfinished, especially one with as good a story as this one. It's the perfect blend of humor, romance, and drama, and although your writing has been great from the start it's only gotten better as the story progresses.

Your characterization is absolutely fantastic. Sakura is more herself in this story than she is in canon at times (I mean, who really believed that she was going to settle down and give up the ninja life once she made a baby with her childhood crush? I'm still mad about that). She has realistic vulnerabilities and insecurities while still being an absolute badass who takes no bullshit. I'm also really impressed with the way you write all of the other characters, especially Itachi's and Sasuke's slowly-developing relationships with Sakura. You don't really rush anything, which is such a welcome change from the usual trope of Sasuke falling at Sakura's feet and professing his love to her/immediately forgiving Itachi once he learns the truth about the massacre. Things are complicated, and you do an excellent job of working through the tangles and the issues without losing the lighthearted humor that makes this 156,000 word story feel like a comfortable weekend read.

I LOVE this fanfiction. Its in my top 5 favorites along with 'Yet Again with a little Extra Help by ThirdFang' (which you should read). This is so original, hilarious, creative, well written, and artfully done. I am so impressed with this work and that you've stayed with it for so many years. Thank you for your continued updates, no matter how slow (I'm ot one to lecture about slow updates. lol). I CAN NOT WAIT for the next update.

Late to the game but loving this story all the same! I must admit, I avoided this story for a long time because I expected the cutesy and cliche story you said it wasn't. But I love what I've read so far! I'm hooked. What does madara plan? Who of the akatsuki will betray Sakura?
