This may be the first time you've written something like this, but you've done a beautiful job with it! I love the image of a bit of Mary held in trust at Marshall's house. I like how Marshall doesn't analyze it to death, and I particularly love how Mary, without analyzing it either, has created a pattern for herself to reinforce Marshall. The tank top & its life are a wonderful image for the simultaneous steadiness & tension between Marshall & Mary.
Thank you so much for writing & sharing this!

This is a wonderful look at the give and take that takes place, often unknowingly, between these two. I love it.

How very sweet and endearing. And that Mary more than goes along with it, encourages it. Has immersed herself into its suggested meaning.
Very, very nice.

| JMS529 chapter 1 . 3/8/2010
Sweet story I like the way Mary puts on the shirt without Marshall knowing and replacing it back and how he thinks it's him just remembering her scent. Thanks for sharing.
