Followed & faved...
Went looking for your other stories after re-reading DOTS, (awaiting the 2nd part of that story as well, whenever it might come) and found Glory to Ash... Exceptionally well balanced story and provided a detailed view of the initial Cylon assault on the Colonies... I especially enjoy how you've kept a strong Greek flavour to your storyline, unlike so many others where the reader would be forgiven for thinking the colonies were from somewhere west of Iowa...
Thank you so very much for this and other fics...

Many thanks for an entertaining fic.
Will gladly add this fav to my BSG folder in my voicestream app for future enjoyment. This will be a great addition to Monbade's fics of the BSG 'verse already collected.
The rich details in you fic makes me quail in my bunny-driven thoughts of scripting a crossover BSG/Bolo XXXIV with technical elements of The Vang and Shiva's 'verses that I have come 'across over the years. I will continue to jot down musings and discovered factoids from sources like BSG's wiki and current events.
One recent event is the possibility of particular stellar pulsars having a type of life-cycle unbeknownst from its previously believed steady-state. It has been observed that these pulsars, upon occasion, explode/expend X-rays with the power output of 75,000 suns in one go! This process actually assisted my idea of how a lone, battle-weary, BattleStar in my fic idea could escape from an overwealming pursuit of 5-10 BaseStars while seeking refuse within a pulsar's locale. The BattleStar's emergency FTL jump sequence prior to 100% repair state so close to the remnant star that it causes the pulsar to go through the above mentioned process, causing the attacking fleet to be utterly destroyed.
Along with the demize of the enemy fleet the skin-jobs aboard the BattleStar also are decimated to the point that the stellar process prevented them to resurrect into their new bodies, thereby insuring no intel is available to the Hybride command staff of the Cylons as to the fate and deposition of that particular pursuit and new position of the BattleStar, if it survived somehow the total destruction of its pursuing Cylon Fleet.
The X-ray explosion of the pulsar causes the escaping BattleStar from failing to achieve the jump coordinates entered from the CIC, causing them to appear in a different location and much further out than possible, to where fate and the Lords of Kobol will have them encounter a Bolo Assault Carrier/repair vessel that has translated from a parallel 'verse via a faulty escape device encountered from a long dead enemy race of The Vang.

Really had no desire to read this - given that Caprica is in progress, it was clear from the get-go that canon was going to have to be ignored and that this was going to be its own little thing.
Glad I *DID* read it, tho. Nice way you have of taking what you want from canon, using it as a base, and then cheerfully ignoring that stuff that comes later. It may not be canon, but it's a damn good read. BSG universe with some tweaks. I like it.

Nice, More please.

Ah, I live for stories like this, Bryan. It's great to see that aspect of the BSG universe, and you've done well with the naming aspects, very fitting and still original.
And, quite frankly, original characters simply offer *way* more artistic freedom for fanfic writers. That's why I prefer this particular approach with my own stories whenever it's possible.
So, will we see the beginning of the 1st Cylon War here? It's kinda foreshadowed with the glitches in Cylon behaviour mentioned throughout the latter part of the story. Or will this be strictly an intra-colonial war (which works just as fine with me)?
