I absolutely adore your story idea! I think that the way you're portraying the characters, and their growth, are fairly accurate and I'm so glad Naruto and Sasuke will have SOMEONE other than themselves throughout their childhood!

Well, basically this was what I was expecting. I want the two of them to build the other up and tear them down as they discover themselves as human beings. For Naruto and Sasuke's differences to grate on each other and open each others continuously scarring wounds. For them to yell and hate each other but then realize, over time, they are suffering from the same thing; loneliness, and the only sure is a tentative but strong friendship built on nothing but empathy and the desire for the sting of loneliness to ebb away with every smile and bowl of ramen shared between them.

You were afraid of too much angst?! I say there needs to be more angst! More drama! More tears, because they're vulnerable little children after all, all alone and stuck with someone they think they hate. Go crazy! Get right in there, and don't hold back for a second! Children are wild and irrational so there's your excuse to get wild and irrational too!

Okay, okay, maybe not the unholy, insane amount of drama that I'm describing, but definitely have the two grate on each other like they did here. You're doing great! I can't wait to read the next chapter! :)

Good point on how Naruto would be good for Sasuke because he has pretty much NOTHING in common with the Uchiha clan and its massacre.

Kind of depressing thoughts in that it seems like the reason Naruto does not mind Sasuke is beating him up is because it means he is interacting with someone

Well this was one helluva story so far. The way you portray Naruto and Sasuke when they're together cuts past all of the bullshit they put up in their masks. That's a pretty good thing if u ask me compared to other fanfic authors who portray their masks as if those are the real Naruto and Sasuke. That's the best part about your writing.

When I saw the name Tsukushi, I immediat though TsuKUSHI as in Kushina. Idk if that was intentional but it actually adds to her character.

Naruto's actually the Otōto... you know, because he is younger.
