Great introduction! I love the Hokage's soft spot for children. It is curious why Sasuke was allowed to stay in his home, alone after the massacre.

So, it's been a year since last updated, and yep, I'm not super optimistic that it will ever get updated, but, while I'd certainly love more, the eleven chapters already up are more than enough to warrant a little effort on my part, so here it is:

It's been quite awhile since you updated this, but I suppose that just means that my opinion is still relevant. Honestly? Squirrel's death threw me for a loop. The way you were building her up indicated that she'd drop out of ANBU and possibly try adopting the pair, or at least try to be their genin sensei. But her death can be worked in a clever way. It can be an incentive to Naruto, a precursor to his vow of getting stronger so that none of his loved ones ever have to suffer/die on his behalf again. Anyways, since this is my first time reading this particular story, might I also add that I like the premise of the story, Naruto and Sasuke living together as psuedo brothers.

I... cried when Tsukushi died. Honestly, I'm not sure whether to congratulate you for making me cry, or to curse you out. So... Nothing. Just, update soon, this is really good.

I'm actually quite enjoying the story. I know it's been a year since you updated, but I'm going to hope for more none the less. :) Gambare!

i really like this story and i love the relationship-bond that has developed between sasuke and naruto...i want them to move on and not dwell on their pasts...the way you write is also quite good i have to admit...i really want to know what happens next so please continue this story and upload the next chapter soon...
