For what it's worth I'm kind of sad that this story isn't going to be completed, it was shaping up to be something really great

I think it still is an interesting fic but unfinish as well.

I love this story! One of the things I loved the most in Second Chances was the bond between Naruto and Sasuke. I've always wondered if Sasuke or Naruto had it worse. Itachi generally beats them both though. I really enjoy your style of writing.

To tell the truth, I didn’t want squirrel to die. Also, just asking, since this happened instead of mizuki tricking naruto into stealing the sacred scroll, how will he learn his signature shadow clone Hutus (maybe kakashi teaches him?) how will he learn of the nine tailed fox, and how will iruka prove he cares for naruto if he never took a hit for him. Also, is it possible to show more relationships with other ANBU because I loved it, like they could get protective of him and be like his hidden extra family. You mentioned before that every ANBU is slightly fond of naruto. And many quit ANBU duties because of it.

1. Sasuke is shown that even at a young age he is mature while naruto shows that he never really grew up so besides a limit of knowledge on cirtain things (like curse words but I makes sense that naruto knows them since they were probably used on him) you can probably just use their personalities from the anime. Your doing great at the moment though. 2. I can see how sasuke would use naruto as a distraction and it’s a clever way of showing him hanging around the blonde more. 3. It seems to be going at a good pace once you explain the trauma reason for him staying with naruto. Otherwise i would have suggested having sasuke try to avoid the loud blonde since he can’t escape at home but naruto would be persistent and keep hanging around sasuke to sasuke’s annoyance since he just wants to be left alone to process what happened. But I like your version better. As for learning naruto is treated poorly, no matter which version you go with, sasuke would realize it very soon that naruto is treated poorly because it’s very obvious but children tend to ignore things going on around them or just don’t understand. Sasuke in particular didn’t think the other chinldren were worth his time so he never even noticed naruto (as you explained) but now that naruto is a big part of his life he starts to see what is going on around him. 4. Where is Iruka sensei (the kind father figure that was supposed to be with naruto ever since he enters the academy).
