|Reviews for One Experiment too Far!|
| wryter501 chapter 1 . 5/10/2017
you wrote this with 'tongue in cheek'. oh my gosh. the puns.
(i'm grinning anyway).
| Angelique Jane chapter 1 . 2/24/2013
This was hilarious. While you did bring it right there, you backed off before it got too much. I really liked Watson's reaction.
| Sylviechic chapter 1 . 1/22/2012
As soon as Holmes said he was reading Fan Fiction... My reaction was; "Oh, s***."
| toeki chapter 1 . 7/31/2011
im not into explicit slash so much, for many reasons.
.often written for the porn and just the porn
.often not well written
.often written by persons who are clearly younger than 15 and (deducing from the anatomically impossible descriptions)have never had sex themselves:))
So i laughed my ass off reading your little parody.
now i will have some fun quoting my favourite lines.
"I think this particular formation might be anatomically impossible," Watson remarked as he perused.
"This position is absurd; I mean I once knew this woman in Marrakesh…well let's just say the male body is not meant to bend that way…"
"I have no idea why those many females find you appealing, that moustache is quite distracting…and so is that revolver you've just placed under the shelf of my chin…
i also love the term "projectile lobotomy"
| Draco's lovely sister chapter 1 . 6/21/2011
I'm a firm believer in strictly NO slash with these too but I mustered up the courage to read it! That's brilliant! That weren't very OOC which you don't find even in non-slash story, that was nice. Cheers to you!
| Verity Kindle chapter 1 . 3/24/2011
"To find and kiss the first unattached female I see! Now burn those vile documents or I shan't return!" Watson bellowed from the stairwell.
The street door slammed. Holmes picked up his violin after throwing the papers in the grate."
| nomdeplume30 chapter 1 . 11/25/2010
Laughed my arse off! "that mustache is quite distracting, as is that revolver you've just placed under the shelf of my chin..." I about fell out of my chair.
| shadowsamurai83 chapter 1 . 4/24/2010
Dude, you rock. Seriously, this was freakin' hilarious! I loved it! I can see your Watson being a tad narked at Holmes' experiment, and this worked for me. Great job!
| shedoc chapter 1 . 4/24/2010
oh dear - good thing i wasn't drinking or i'd have to buy a new comp! that was hysterical!
| stardating chapter 1 . 4/22/2010
While I do enjoy a well-written slash story of two characters, I do enjoy these types of stories as well. This had me laughing for a good, long while. Unattached females. How many fangirls would jump at that chance?
| ArtsyChick chapter 1 . 3/31/2010
Even though I don't like slash, especially with Holmes and Watson, this was hilarious and I was having difficulty not bursting into hysterical laughter (that would have gotten some weird looks from my family)! This was an awesome parody! :D
| OnceAndFutureFicWriter chapter 1 . 3/28/2010
Hah hah hah! I really don't find it offensive, just hilarious. Holmes is too rational. Oh, who am I to state the obvious.
| reflekshun chapter 1 . 3/25/2010
I really enjoyed this read, thank you so much for sharing. Your tale really made my day.
| Elizabeth chapter 1 . 3/19/2010
Oh, I love it! The perfect answer to Holmes slashers! Poor Watson, he didn't how to respond until he put the revovler under Holmes' chin. I thought this was wonderfully hysterical! As always, I enjoyed the realistic interactions between Holmes and Watson. You could almost seeing them interact that way in the real world. Plus, this is one author that beyond doubt has stated his opinion in an interesting way about slashing of Doyle's characters and his genre.
| laynsmagicbox chapter 1 . 3/19/2010
Bwaha! You are absolutely hilarious. As is Watson in this. Somehow, his disgust makes it even funnier. Thatnk you for writing this, finding and reading it just made my day.
