Your words evoke beautiful heartfelt emotions which I find very pleasurable to read. Thank you so much for writing this and for sharing it. I do know about that cat, a television station in my area did a story on him. Remarkable, yes?

I like your style, the characters get some debth. I don't know the book you are basing this on but I am german and I would never ever start a sentence in German (like Ja or Nein and Jawohl is only used to speak to other military personel of higher rank) and then switch to Engish for the rest of the sentence. It's actually confusing, like trying to count in french but say every second number in english, you would have to stop to think. Also he speaks well enough to think in english while he is talking, so he would be more likely to exesivly use Yeah instead of yes or ja, which sounds closer to the familiar answer.
Thank you for the chapter!
