The comparison between the Jedi and the Clones was chilling and it's one that I kind of agree with. I thought the Jedi were wrong to forbid attachments.

I love the glimpse into Anakin's darker side, even if I can't blame him for his sentiments one bit.

It's so interesting how you differentiate between the levels of protectiveness Obi-Wan and Anakin feel for each other, with one being involuntary and the other being by choice. That was a really nice distinction to make. I'm loving this story already- I adore Anakin and I always love a good Anakin and Obi-Wan friendship. Your writing is clear and distinct, on a professional level, almost better than a professional level because some writers just have no idea how to say what they want to say and the story is the worse for it, but not this. This is absolutely incredible!

Shouldn’t Dooku be used to this because he was the leader of the Sepratis?

I just wanted to say after all the years I've read fanfiction this is still the best fic I've ever come across. Up until I chanced upon your work I'd only read parodies because 14 year old me didn't think fanfic could be anything more serious. But then I read this story and I realized that fanfiction could leave canon in the dust. I didn't know it could be this *good*. I didn't know it could read like a novel. Everything that was lacking in the movies and books you gave to us in the best way. I'm not kidding when I say after I found this I reread the whole thing 5,6,7 times in a row, and still couldn't get enough.

I'm 26 now, and I still hold this story as canon in my heart, and as the Star Wars we deserved to have. I couldn't ask for anything more. I don't know if you'll ever see this, but I wanted come back to say thank you for doing what you do. Your readers have been blessed.

I've been reading this for the last week whenever I have a break and it's sooo good. Obi and Ani adventure with a bunch of family schmoop kills me everytime. And dooku! Dooku is underrated as a star wars baddie for sure and it's great to see him as the main villain without sidious around.
And baby luke! That ending! I am crying and my heart is full of rainbows

That's what I never understood, Dooku was Loyal the towards the cause of putting a singular leader capable of foresight in charge of the galaxy. Sidious' goal was to rule over the galaxy forever. The only reason to take Anakin on as an apprentice was... what exactly?

This is a fantastic story on so many levels. The study of guilt, family, legacy and good vs evil. You did a really great job.
