sorry, i just realized my previous review was well, really more of a comment. i could go on and on about how awesome i think/know/insist you are (seriously, if you want a more thorough analysis, lemme know and i will willingly, gratefully oblige. it would be an honor really) but the gist would be: i can see the progression of everything and their characterization as canon. the series really could have gone that way. all of us shenny shippers still wish this is what happened instead. you know what, imma go to bed and hold that this is how things go :D
ps just thought i should lay this down to be fair: i'm not completely opposed to the shamy. they are the epitome of oddly endearing :P

While Leonard may be comfortable, that's not something you want in a mate.

And while Sheldon can be whack-a-doodle, he is also sweet, kind, caring, etc. a Boy Scout. Peter Pan. And so much more.

I like how she sees him and her reaction, is almost high school; and I am sure she would like nothing better than to drag him to the bedroom; but she knows Sheldon is not a fling. hes in it for the long haul. He will have her toes curling in her socks for a long time.

This was an awesome story. I can't ever imagine being in the position she's in in this fic, yet, though I've never been in it myself, I could practically feel the tension, as if I were living this situation myself! It was written well enough that I got drawn in and felt as though I were watching an episode, not reading online! Brilliant job. I also thought that it was great that she gave the choice to Sheldon, that she wasn't going to make him do anything he didn't want to do, that the next step would be his to make. That was perfect. I truly feel that if something like this were to happen in the show (which I'm SERIOUSLY hoping for) that if Penny pushed too much, Sheldon would balk. This takes away that possibility by letting him make the move. Excellent!
