I'd love to read more soon, but obviously you have other things to do as well as write! I totally understand where you're coming from regarding last year of high school; sometimes the workload's a total nightmare!

It's perfect. Absolutely perfect. I love fics where people meet for the first time and the make the reader see the characters from a fresh point of view, as if you've never even heard of them before. I really felt like I was reading an original.

Your writing is very balanced, clear and the kind that makes you wanna read every single word. As to characterizations... I'm usually not that enthusiastic about people making Light a "good" person, but I don't mind it when he's written as well as this. I loved your L, his speech pattern and his persona in general are easy to get wrong but you nailed him, I think. Mello and Matt - my faves in DN - seem promising, too. It's always nice when they're a Fred/George kind of duo. :D

I was quite surprised that they all live on the same street. Well, it's convenient for the story and also very cozy.

I wonder how the plot will roll from here onwards... For some reason I keep thinking there's going to be a mystery to solve, I guess because the setting is reminds me of a reversed Famous Five situation. :)

But yeah. I'm lovin' this so far. Take your time writing, I know perfectly well how long it can take.

PS I think we're all trying to stop reading/writing ff so much... :) It's a bloodu hard addiction to break, though. *sigh*
