| Thorn the Laughing Willow chapter 12 . 1/18
Oh. My. God. I love you! This was absolute genius! I really wish I had that kind of foresight in my writing! And your excerpt from your second idea for the sequel was also amazing! I got, like, chills! Kallen with a geass would be awesome! And an immortal Lelouch? Even more awesome!
| Mao chapter 8 . 1/9
| Tsubodai chapter 8 . 1/5
Well this is turning out rather fantastic despite the somewhat numerous grammatical errors. You have certainly been doing an amazing job especially in depicting Mao, I might add.
| Moonlit Wave chapter 12 . 12/28/2013
really good story!
And I'd love to read the alternative too.
I did read the Time Machine nice pun.
| Badgedbadger chapter 6 . 12/2/2013
"I call myself Suzaku" is a brilliant line.
Also, you see important things on television more often when those things are actually happening. It's still ridiculous, but not as much as you say.
| L.L chapter 13 . 10/7/2013
Came here for the poetry
| shuriken barrage chapter 13 . 8/25/2013
| claymore78 chapter 13 . 7/18/2013
Good stuff I like it.
| Yusuke Urameshi - Mazoku chapter 13 . 7/15/2013
Going to read the sequel now!
| Trife chapter 2 . 7/14/2013
So this is yet another canon parrot :( I had hoped it was different but I guess time will tell. Though to be honest by your logic you had used at the end of the chapter Charles would not take the chance that his son was not also from the future and would take precautions. Also for every event changed like how soon Lelouch killed Clovis for example it already changed the timeline and that will cause more changes. More people lived the did the first time and while that is a small change it can cause other more drastic changes.
| Guest chapter 13 . 7/12/2013
You're weird... lol funny and real, but weird.
| Guest chapter 9 . 7/11/2013
I like your author's notes. A lot. Y know how often I yell at people for drawing readers into a story and then leaving them hanging and NEVER finishing. Well I'm just really happy that you seem to realize that and eventually get around to finishing your stories. Plus you come across as very genuine, something I can't say about most out here.
Oh, and your story is good too. I like it and it's IC. I regularly run into the problem of not being smart enough for my character as well.
| Rahi-1 chapter 12 . 7/11/2013
Yay for Kallen keeping a level head! I did mention that's one of the reasons I liked her, didn't I?
Villeta is persistent isn't she? And Guilford is concerned of course, but now he trusts Lelouch so that would be very interesting if they met in the future...say in R&S, while he's protecting Cornelia, and she doesn't realize the orders came from Zero...anyway, back to this chap.
And on Suzaku...no wait, first, James Bond ftw, ok, now on Suzaku...that really is just like him. And Kallen showing in the middle of that, ah, priceless. Confusion abounds and I can't stop chuckling at them being flabbergasted- doubly so once Milly enters the equation. Also, bonus points to Suzaku for remaining diplomatically neutral.
Also, bonus points to Euphie for Superman disguise (glasses)! Would award bonus points for being successful without High School, but that seems somewhat ignorant.
As for the Black Knight meeting...I think this is one of the reasons I love your Mao so much. He's just as misleading and still twists his words around all sorts of abstract ideas, but what he says still makes a certain sense. Which, really, is slightly worrying when you start to understand a psychopath o.o
Also, bonus points for Zero so utterly shaming the Black Knights. Without repercussions, that is, cause otherwise they might get mad at the humiliation they may suffer.
Also, Aliens can be pretty cool dudes. Depends on the breed, I suppose.
And on the alternate; Mao is definitely an enjoyable read, so long as he doesn't off the deep end (but that'd mean the end of his fun, so he prolly won't do that). So I'm glad you choose a...brighter ending to YPMF. Although other authors have come up with rather varied and original powers for Kallen, and I'd certainly be curious to know what you come up with.
And yes, Risks and Sacrifices is an infinitely better title then 'Your Past, My Future'.
As for Time Machine, I've seen the remake (not sure how many there has been, but it came out...I wanna say less then ten years ago, but when I say that I'm still thinking the 90's, so I've no clue when it came out really), and it was a pretty good movie.
Something I've been thinking a lot about lately though is, what exactly happened in C's World that sent Lelouch back in time in the first place? It's a bit of an odd thing to think about only after finishing this story three times, but it took me till now to realize that after the first chapter, nothing involving that day is really mentioned. Course, if Lelouch doesn't remember all that much, and he's the only one who travelled, it makes sense that it would remember a mystery, for, say, eternity, but it's still a curiosity...
Anyway, onto the Sequel!
| Rahi-1 chapter 11 . 7/11/2013
Another great chapter, with a few funnies here and there, and Kallen 'hearing' Naoto was definitely unexpected. Canon never did explain exactly what or how the Sword of Akasha was, did it? It's really just a blob of assumptions as far as the fanon is concerned, I suppose.
And yay for Kallen learning who Zero is. She's loyal enough that it could be good things from here. Though...I have to wonder, how on Earth did people survive with the next chapter not already uploaded by the time they read this? The suspension prolly would have killed me...
| Rahi-1 chapter 10 . 7/10/2013
One does not simply quote Lovecraft! And anyone who claims they know what that quote means is as ignorant as anyone who claims to know what the proper pronunciation of Cthulhu is.
Tohdoh is also totally in my top ten, by the way. He's a really awesome dude. If I still have room, then Xing-Ke also goes in there. If not, then he's 11.
Ah, Mao. Evidently he is not content to amuse Lelouch for the sake of amusement. Still, it prolly would have gotten old relatively fast if you did it every time, so perhaps that's for the best. And we know they still can do it, so it's easily applicable in future situations. Also...Jolly Leap Frogs, Just Like Friends...still chuckle worthy after the third read.
And the stale mate right after that was pretty cool. Good thing CC diffused the situation before it escalated!
Once again, this is why I like Kallen; she focuses on the important things. And relief at Zero not killing Lelouch (*snirk*) is good to see.
Yeah, writing is pretty hard. Especially without inspiration, then it just drags on...and that sucks. Not that you have the problem...right? Also, you forgot sleep in your list.
Never read up much on Napoleon. Seems like a cool enough dude, I suppose.
