   LionessOfTrebond chapter 1 . 12/15/2023 I have no words to say how amazing this is. "disappear like this word" /abracadabra/ "I will destroy as I speak" Priceless. (J.K. Rowling translates Avada Kedavra as "let the thing be destroyed" but I actually learned it exactly the same way you did from my Hebrew school teacher - "I will destroy as I speak." That makes some sense to me because the root DBR or "daber" is "to speak", but I'm not sure what the true Aramaic meaning was.) I love your "Tom Riddle is still Tom Riddle, he's just pretending to be a Hufflepuff" but at the same time it makes me deeply uncomfortable. Gorgeous. |

I value hard work, honesty and fairness most now, even if they lack the power they should in the world. My optimistic side sees how they're effective in a small scale, my cynical side sees how they're dismissed like Hufflepuff is, but I choose optimism and belonging now:) |
